our power level continues to grow.

we could realistically start 7-0 if we played like we did against Houston without the million penalties

yeah it's almost like they missed their cupcake game

USC
7/10, shitty 3 quarters and elite 4th quarter as usual
We should be ahead of Pedo State but #5 is ok for now
6/10, @Wazzu is the hardest game left this season

We will defeat both Oklahoma's

USC
A win over a good team, looked great in the second half as usual.
Would like to be higher but this is okay.
Barring a meme magic upset, we'll handle wazzu. It's surprisingly clear sailing from there. No reason not to go undefeated.

>say it's not a meme poll
>clearly is

considering Oklahoma is a copycat of us now, I wouldn't be suprised

>TCU beat Arkansas convincingly and a ranked Oklahoma State pretty easily
>USC got lucky against a shitty Texas team in overtime and beat an unranked Cal
USC is a meme, they're not even top 10

Assblasted ooklafag detected
Might wanna try allowing less than 50 points in a game fampai

Auburn
9/10 But Missouri would probably miss the top 10 in the FCS
Don't really care about polls, we've lost the only real opponent we played so this is mostly hype
6/10 this will probably be the bellwether for the rest of our season

Southern Miss
Bye week/10, good to see the rest of C-USA West before conference play starts
Not ranked, could be worse on week 4
Cautiously optimistic. All the Texas schools aren't looking so good anymore and the East is still shit.

Now since we're entering the final stages of the ECU @ UConn game it's time to ask what will be Week 5's G5 game of the week?

Lads. this is historic. The tempestuous journey that Washington has traversed to reach 7th in the rankings will be spoken of for centuries among fathers to sons in mythical disbelief. When you are 80 years old, wrapped in a blanket and comfy in your rocking chair by an open fire; you can tell spellbound youngsters about the time you saw the Huskies overcome a 1 win G5 team to reach 3, and then 4 wins unscathed with the thumping of Colorado who did not even schedule a single P5 opponent out of conference. The fire crackles as the children gasp in awe. Snow begins to fall outside the window and your tale comes to end, but the youngsters are thirsty for more 'Tell us about the 2 score margin of victory over Rutgers again Grandpapa!' one child begs. 'No, no! The legendary mountain of scoring versus Montana!' implores another. The oldest boy pipes up 'Be quiet you two. Grandad tells those ones all the time. Go on, tell us the one you promised us last time - the moderate victory over Fresno State...Grandad...G-Grandad?'. The rocking chair creaks to a halt. A serene expression on your face and all of The Pac12's bowl game results the year before flash before your eyes in your final moments as the children embrace you. The Huskies scoring only one touchdown vs Alabama. The 38-8 loss for Colorado playing Oklahoma State. Unranked Minnesota beating ranked Wash St. They know what is happening. They are scared, but calm. The last thing you hear as you slide into the black warmth of death is the youngest boy - old beyond his years, and a USC fan who spends every free moment leaving games early to beat the traffic. 'Don't be sad. He lived a hell of a life. In the age of the 7th ranked Huskies.

I'm not too worried about yesterday
Yes only scored 7 in the first 45 minutes isn't ideal but BC always plays Clemson tough and I couldn't really credit the performance to BC's defense
It was just sloppy play from the offense and poor play calling
There is no reason whatsoever for this offense to run a bubble screen again

>florida above miami and usf

>miami
>7/10, great second half adjustments, secondary absolute shit
>ranking is w/e they control their own destiny with regard to that

**G5 Game of the Week

Old Thread:

>4-0 with 7th hardest schedule in the nation
>2nd-longest winning streak in the nation

they should be top-3 desu

How do we stop Alabama?

>taking to heart what some drunk homer says at 1 am after an all day bender

Oh, so even more embarrassing
>Almost losing to Baylel

>actual run game and willingness to use it as the main focus of the offense, not complementary, down the middle, off the edge, and catching out the backfield in effective and unpredictable ways
>use of TEs and FBs in very versatile ways from blocking, wildcat, and deep ball receiving

Legitimately kill yourself if you think they're not an improved version of the original air raid and that Texas Tech can claim they invited that system and not the coach himself who only innovated it, not invented the original concept.

USC is shit and Penn is without a doubt better.

Bullshit damage controlling

>forgetting about getting your shit pushed in not 9 months ago by superior USC and The Darnold

neutral fan, darnold is overhyped trash like every other usc quarterback in the last 30 years

>Unironically ranking UW and SC as low as 11th
The east coast bias is insane

Auburn is LSU tier tho

>Virginia Tech
>8/10. Defense finally becoming cohesive and obvious the offense was fine tuning plays for next week
>It's about right considering Tech has played no one special
>6/10, ask me again after this weekend

It's go time!

We can dream

Miss State didn't play at LSU. That would suck as bad as playing at Auburn. Likewise, if Auburn was playing Miss State in Starkvegas this weekend in front of a stadium full of fucking cowbells, that would suck for Auburn like it sucked for LSU. Only other big team that has to deal with that this year is Alabama

>tfw no longer Also Receiving Votes

Just shut up and let me dream

What did Miami mean by this?

>Tfw we go 8-4 but beat bama.
Id be ok with that

it hurts buffbro

I'm sorry, my friend

College football has gotten so boring its basically "lol bama" then every couple of years maybe 1 team memes a championship. No parity or any chance for other programs to become great.

It does.

Just remember that it's now considered a disappointment to lose to the #7 team in the nation when 18 months ago, we'd be thrilled with any Pac-12 win.

>yfw the most successful usc quarterback in the history of the nfl was rodney peete

carson palmer had a much better than average career. definitely not overhyped.

3 week layoff and a decent team

Kerry Collins > Palmer

sorry but Palmer has SIGNIFICANTLY better stats mah dude:
nfl.com/player/kerrycollins/2500150/careerstats
nfl.com/player/carsonpalmer/2505245/careerstats

>#1 overall pick
>1-3 in playoffs

That's what happens when you get drafted by the Bengals

so wait miami moved up 3 spots for playing no one but doesnt move at all after playing.

they should of just claimed hurricane for the whole season

holy shit did not realize I got a friday night canes game

Yeah, cool story bro. But Palmer never got his jaw broken in the locker room by calling someone a nigger. Nice try cuck.

>That writer from Arizona

His line of logic makes no sense. He has Oregon ranked 23rd, SDSU ranked really high at 16th, but Utah ranked 24th, which could kind of make sense if you think ASU is a quality team and Arizona is really terrible, until you consider he has Texas Tech completely unranked.

TTU is undefeated and beat the ASU team that Oregon lost too. Then also beat Houston in Houston, who beat Arizona in Arizona in a similarly contested game as Utah's win in Arizona.

"Well then" you could think, "maybe since he's from Arizona he watched all the games Zona and ASU have played and saw some things that other people didn't see?" I personally watched every game in this cluster of head to head matchups because I'm a Tech fan who was also curious about upcoming opponents, as well as saw Oregon vs Nebraska because my family likes Nebraska. Not only does having a more familiar intimacy with those games not help his case, it makes it worse.

This guy is a shithead who has no business giving his opinion in the AP Poll.

Who are some good running backs in this upcoming draft class?

>Caring about the NFL even before the whole kneeling shit

Barkley duh

...

Miami didn't move at all dummy and Toledo isn't no one

Lel, Palmer was drafted 1st overall in a class of QBs which was fucking shit, and wasn't even the best QB to declare that year. That would be Tony Romo who went undrafted.

Not a single USC QB has ever surpassed, or even met their draft expectations. Palmer, Leinart, Sanchez, Barkley, Kessler, and now Darnold will add the long tradition of USC QBs NEVER living up to their perceived draft potential.

Not to mention OU actually has goal line/short yardage offense

Clemson has had slow starts against BC the past 3 seasons. Nothing to worry about senpai.

Is it to early to believe in the Sooners?

>mfw people said NCST wasn't good

Not too early to believe that you take dicks in the ass and that Baker Memefield is a fucking meme.

Its always too early to believe in the Sooners

? Whats your point?

Penny gonna be the next faulk desu

FSUing is the new Clemsoning

>TTU has no goal line offense

Oh boy, just wait till Kliff busts out Nisby. He's been hiding that nigga for conference play.

My point is that "your" qb is a pussy ass faggot that has never, ever won anything worthwhile in his entire life.

>believing in a team from Chokeahoma
>ever
There's a reason why God sends tornadoes to that state

That being said, the Sooners are the only team that stands a chance in the playoff in the Big 12. TCU doesn't have the offense/qb and Oklahoma State has already shown its not ready. Oklahoma looked really bad, they will most certainly not make it out of the Big 12 unscathed. I predict a loss to Texas or Oklahoma State.

has he been hiding a offensive line aswell?

they arent. fsu is fucking shit. cook to the nfl and no francois.

defense is still ok but that offense is trash.
