The goat

Tupac of the 2010s.

No matter where Lil B's career goes he will always be the godfather of the memerap game and every internet rapper owes him one.

Tupac isn't really the godfather of anything, unlike Lil B, he came into the game when gangsta rap was already established

Being a faggot on Twitter

you know I always thought lil b was a meme, I respected his stuff from afar. I've recently went back and listened to 05 fuck em and I gotta say, he was legitimately ahead of his time. I mean, he wasn't making anything super spectacular, but he was doing this current approach to rap years before anyone else was. he's literally proto-soundcloud rap.

To add onto this, Lil B was an originator - such as an Eazy E, Dr. Dre, etc.

Tupac was the perfecter of the formula for 90s gangster rap - He was like the Drake of his generation.

It's so fucking amazing what a cultural impact Lil B had.

I remember listening to him in like 2010, nobody knew who he was. I was 14-15 years old, just an impressionable late 00s skater kid, and smoked a bunch of weed and listened to Red Flame and it blew my mind. I thought his music was meant to be listened to high, or that he was high when he made it, because it sounded so much better and made so much more sense

my bad it was 2011

nah I don't really ascribe to that, I just think he's just doing stream of consciousness freestyling or he's rapping written stuff and just goofing around, being silly on purpose. he does occassionally say something kinda poignant, but he doesn't really take himself seriously.
but ye the impact he had was insane.

Nah, that's not what I'm saying. That's just what 15 year old me thought - that he made it high, which he very well did

I was into the movement beforehand, just not really the music, but it clicked when i got high as fuck (musically)

>I Own Swag
The title alone is a big sign about the quality but I listened anyway to be nice.
Did you mean it's just plain bad? I agree.

and also
>but ye the impact he had was insane.

it's even more insane if you were there from the beginning when he had like one or two songs with a million views back in 2010-2011 (ellen degenerous and wonton soup were his only big shit), and literally nobody was really aware of him irl or on twittersphere or anywhere

i didn't browse Sup Forums back then though so idk if he was known here

It's a jam.

I'm a fan of Lil B but he really doesn't have a single song where he legitimately raps

not that guy

and yes i've listened to thousands of basedgod songs

Is it not a jam though?

>It's a jam.
Fuck off.

uhh no bitch

Don't like him anymore. Better when he was immature and only wanted to rap, smoke and jack off to porn.
Messiah complex got to him.

oh yeah it is definitely a jam

i've just never legit heard lil b ever rap according to actual rap standards, like every bar rhyming on time and making coherent sense

he always had the messiah complex dude

he's been calling himself good since like 2009

but yeah, he's less playful these days and more about preaching

Fuck a Johnny Rotten
I want Lil B

NO CONSENT NO BOOTY

God i hate the way this faggot raps why the fuck u throwin in random ass non rhyming lines in the middle of your fuckin verse it fucks up the entire flow and makes it sound trash and amateurish. Fuck lil b
