Yui is inside unit 01, so Gendo wants to include unit 01 in the orange juice. Is this it? Does Seele want to merge with unit 01 and become the "boss" while making the rest of the world into tang?

I'm still not clear. I think SEELE and Gendo wanted the same thing I don't know why they fought. Maybe SEELE though Gendo wasn't going to tang everyone?
