52%

>52%

How is this enough to make such a massive decision? I am all for a country getting its independence, but how can it work out if 48% of all voters hate the decision? If the so called "smart and powerful" are the same who voted against it, then will they find a way to make new connections to the EU?

What if it had been 52% remain?

>i understand that majority rules
>but when its not for what i want, i am going to redefine majority

>DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE MOST BASIC CONCEPT OF DEMOCRACY

more globalist logic everybody

>reading comprehension 101

I am all for Brexit, but i am wondering how it will work out. If the ones in power are the ones against it, will they not find ways to bypass Brexit?

At 5 you round up mate

Dont they teach math in Norway?

Something like 20% of the inhabitants of the 13 colonies wanted independence, yet it worked fine

BTFO

Yes, it would be much more just to side with the minority than the majority. After all they have J.K Rowling supporting them!

>51.9% voted leave
>round up to 52%
>this is wrong

Thanks, Mohammed Abdulakir.

Hopefully that doesn't happen, but I think it could be a good thing. It would piss off leave and slowly redpill remain. It would also demonstrate to remain that they have no say.

> keeping the status quo is far less destructive! we don't need a supermajority for something like that :^)

>How is this enough to make such a massive decision?
It was a win by over a million votes. Norway, are you White? If you White, it's a good day for you.
turks would have been in EU with visas by end of month. This was finally stopping them at Gates of Vienna. Again
t. Burger working in Gibs-ralter (no, I didn't get to vote obviously. YES, Remain fucks here are butthurt as fuck. Feels good man.

The funny thing is it was decided by old farts who were voting to roll back time as if it were possible. 60+ year olds stuck in the past.

Again, Brexit is an amazing thing imo. It's evidence that the world has had enough of cucks making decisions for them. What worries me is the fact that the ones in power are the ones who hated the decision the most and that they might do everything in their power to fuck over Brexit and similar political movements.

>How is this enough to make such a massive decision?

m8 63% of people didn't even vote, most of people don't give a shit.

>27.1% of the total population voted to leave.
>25.1% voted to stay
>47.8% of the total population didnt care enough to vote either way

Why again should we care about the 25.1%?

I love this narrative

>It was the old and dying people just trying to fuck over the younger generation! They won't even have to live with this decision for very long before they die off!

Watch polls come out that say the majority of the country doesn't want to exit. Where were they on election day?

>i have the moral high ground because i am young, in debt and fucked up my life. Old people don't deserve to make decisions for this country.

Thanks, libtards.

How is no vote at all sufficient to relinquish sovereignty? Brits only ever got to vote on a trade deal, never on the whole EU project.

Agree here, I'm worried, but would be a lot more worried if Cameron had not resigned. Didn't like John's speech about "extremists" (i.e. people who want Britain to stay White and Christian).

Can you make a massive decision to stay in the EU with 52% of the vote? Can you make a massive decision to stay in the EU with 50%+1 votes?

Status quo =/= good

How about:
>I always thought anything lower than 60-70% for either direction is retarded
The only democratic solution would be a compromise.

As it is, the vote was decided on a coin toss.

Meanwhile, my country voted 52,3% to join the EU in 1994. But I guess THAT is fine for you :^)

SWEXIT NOW

>Why again should we care about the 25.1%?
Works both ways dumbass.

OP said 48% of VOTERS, not population. Of course, the 47.8% non voters are irrelevant.

For the EU, there is no compromise.

they may have decided that if the country had a mixture of remain majorities spread around the country but their only majorities were london, scotland and n.ireland

>"extremists"
>white people
Year is 2016
Sure

>how is this enough to make such a massive decision?
Tyranny of the majority; no more, no less.

It was made clear by Juncker that compromise was not an option. This result was essentially forced on us by an EU that thought the British would respond to threats in the same way Greece did.

52% is the supermajority.

Maybe you should have started a petition beforehand

DEMOCRACY BITCH

>It was made clear by Juncker that compromise was not an option.
What kind of deal did UK try to negotiate?

Lefties act all nice until something doesn't go their way, then they bust out the ageist and classist insults.

Hypocrites
