Vienna

I don't like Classicist architecture, which makes up 99% of Vienna. Always felt so supremacist and joyless to me.

I like Jugendstil a lot, that's why I enjoy posting Hundertwasser and Otto Wagner.

lovely architecture

>Always felt so supremacist and joyless to me.
I see it as a part of the city's heritage. It was a capital of an important European power back then, it's known for it's classical music and operas, classicist architecture looks posh but it fits the city and it's history.

Anyway Hundertwasser and Otto Wagner were great architects, I admire their work.

REEE WHY ISN'T IT WELL MAINTAINED AND THIS FUCKING GRAFITTI

Vienna

(I study there)

It used to be a metro station. The entire U6 metro station in Vienna consist of Otto Wagners work.

>mfw shit uni with shit architecture

anyway that campus is just wonderful

what are you studying anyway?

Again this university.

>what are you studying anyway?
I study Business. This is a business school.

A lot of architecture students visit this university and draw the inside and outside of it.

>tfw humanity can go to the moon but still can't plan cities properly

This place is so fucking huge. It's like a district.

But the campus is far more amazing from the Inside than from the Outside.

A strange work of Postmodernism. (also Vienna)

We should lobby for an architecture board on Sup Forums.

My hometown

I really don't think that would be a good idea, it would be completely dead

I mean if there is even a "Papercraft & Origami" board, than there should be an architecture board.
