I couldn't really set my mind on any ground or rock type, so I went with something I'd never used before. I considered getting Rhydon, but I can't trade, so I couldn't have evolved it up to Rhyperion anyway.
And it has decent enough stats (500 total avg) and works fine for sweeping electrics.

Speaking of which, I swept through the whole damn elite 4 with just max buffed Espeon, jesus that thing is a beast. Even the dark trainer fell to her using fucking Swift.
