Good luck putting the right politicians in place, I hope they see this as a clear referendum on immigration policies, but they might not. If Trump doesn't get elected or if he gets elected and doesn't do stuff to fix the problem immediately, the US is cooked demographically, we'll survive, but it will be as a shopping mall instead of an actual nation

You really can't construe this as anything but a good thing for sane immigration policies. Yes, the damage done by the EU is pretty great at this point, but Britain now controls it's own destiny. Immigration policies for Britain will now be made by elected British officials that are accountable to British voters. No matter which way you slice it, that's a positive thing.
This isn't an overnight process. It takes a while before they're completely out. At least it's written down that they left.
