anyone else have a collection of used (or new) vinyl they are listening to? I got Songs in the Key of Life on right now, shit is pretty cool. What albums do you have? I got pic related. Also thoughts on Stevie Wonder?

I just realized Songs in the Key of Life is the second album I got on vinyl that's in the national recording registry for preservation. The other is We're Only In It For The Money
Unsane
I get tons of shit for it on here but I have a lot of records I listen to regularly (somewhere around 200). Right now I'm about to flip Fragile by Yes once I feel like getting up.

Why? Are you the one with the all over the place collection of flea market finds?
I've got about 300-400 records right now, gonna start pruning some of the collection by selling some on Discogs and giving away some to the local Goodwill. Lot of it is honestly not in the best condition or just crap I don't care to listen to. Hopefully I'll scrounge up enough cash to upgrade some of the weaker links in my system.
Actually just listened to my copy of Songs in the Key of Life not too long ago, definitely my favorite of his. Seems to be his funkiest/jazziest album.
Listened to this on vinyl the other day
After I finish my backlog I'm gonna get right back to my records. I have all sorts of bullshit in there. I think next is a Barbera Streisand album?
I'm going to a not-RSD record show tomorrow, wish I'll find some good stuff on dollar crates.
Listened to last year's post-houmous Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings LP earlier today for the first time. It's amazing. Probably going to listen to one of my more recent buys after i finish listening to this album on my PC.
I was dead wrong.
This is definitely not Barbera Streisand.

I've been collecting so many records as of late that I could probably drive around to all of the record swap meets in my area and make some decent coin. If I keep my collection growing at this rate then I'll probably get into that business 10 years from now and build up a retirement fund. I hit up a couple of swaps this past week. I don't have any pics on my phone, so here's a quick rundown of what I can remember.
Bowie - orig pressings of both "Heroes" and Low
Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady and Pt. 1-3 mini-LP
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
Devo - Are We Not Men? on marble vinyl
The Clash - London Calling
Faith No More - The Real Thing orig pressing
Charged G.B.H. - Leather, Bristles, Sick Boys and No Survivors
Elvis Presley' debut LP
The Jesus And Mary Chain - Psycho Candy and Darklands orig German pressings
King Crimson - ITCOTCK and Lark's Tounge orig pressings
Killing Joke - s/t and that one with the picture of blue velvet for the cover
I don't know if everything here is an original pressing, But all of them are old.
I want that Devo album, it's pretty hard to come by for me
Buying new vinyl is losing its luster for me and discogs is too mainstream for me to get good deals on used records anymore unless I literally pick it up from Goodwill or somewhere that doesn't care. I like my local record stores but they're not worth paying more than I pay on Amazon AND the gas money to drive there.
Is this natural or have I reached the wall?
I just bought a Crosley
Is this shit safe? Only happens with this record.
have fun with your new hobby, which won't last a year anyway before you get bored
As long as you only play Dark Side of the Moon on it 4 times, you should be right.
Found these at an antique/CD store in TX. Everything was half off. I'm at about 120 now.
And these at a place in Dallas called forever young records which is about a 2 hour drive for me. The prices are way too high though.
tons of old records I'm ripping to MP3, did this one last night
