How do white hip hop fans reconcile with the knowledge that many of the songs they listen to feature lyrics that insult and degrade white people?
If rappers refer to white women, they're almost always presented as thoughtless trophy whores. If rappers mention white people as a whole, they're almost always presented as evil, uncool, ignorant, and conniving people who are personally responsible for the totality of human suffering and deserve pain.
Basically, my question is: why do white hip hop audiences enjoy being spat on and humiliated? Why aren't they embarrassed to listen to this music?
They want to be niggers so badly it's embarrassing

I can't find any Hip Hop act with better beats than Public Enemy.

Music, even pop music, is art, and nothing is more serious than art. It is the highest endeavour humanity can aspire towards
Owen Bennett
>nothing is more serious than art. It is the highest endeavour humanity can aspire towards >ahh, my son, you have returned from your long journey to retrieve foods and medicines for our ailing family, what you have done is surely the highest of endeavor's a man can make, as nothing is more serious than the health and well being of one's family. Please share with us the splendor that is the fruits of your labor, that which will save us from certain peril. What have you brought for us, my child? >>durr i drawed a pikture XD

Consider this. Oppression under the cruelty of society is why African Americans use Hip Hop to escape this. If you ever hear them talking about murder, misogyny, drugs, sex and material wealth, or even degrading other races (especially whites), don't be alarmed or surprised. They rap about that to dispell the anger they faced at the hands of whites who enslaved them. Intelligent whites know this, and feel sympathy for their plight, which gives them their popularity. Compared to other genres, such as Emo, it's much more emotionally honest. Midwest soyboys have literally nothing to complain about, because they already have the advantage of being white, which virtually grants them access to any girl they want. In that regard, they write about brutally dishonest, superficial emotions and make money for selling moronic "sensitivity" albums.
Owen Rodriguez
>hey guys i really hate black people and rap >thats why im going to make 40 threads about them, spam porn, and make threads that are vaguely about music but are actually about cuckolding >lol so le kek and funny xD
Robert White
>Oppression under the cruelty of society is why African Americans use Hip Hop to escape this No, they used the blues to escape that. Hip Hop was made in the 70's, long after any reason for them to complain about "muh oppreshun" Hip Hop is bourgeois as fuck

Is this a joke? Art is much, MUCH more important than food and medicine. Food and medicine are only valuable insofar as they allow you to interact with art. There's no reason to existence if you have no spiritual life

It's about separating the message from the aesthetics.
You could look at a painting of Nazi cross and think "Hey that painting looks pretty good, it's a Nazi cross yeah, but the painting looks pretty good."
I mean, I really don't get the customization of art in these last years. It's like if the personalization of entertainment and, as a consequence, the bastardization of art mixed with the constant appeal to collectivism of social media has totally stopped people from thinking without feeling. Or even feeling without thinking for the especially anxious.
It's the same thing as listening to music with lyrics in a language you don't know. Who gives a shit?
Owen Miller
That is not my concern
I am being 100% sincere. I'll make an exception for religion, with the caveat that art has more or less become a secular form of religion in our post-Christian age.

You're a fucking idiot in denial. Art is nothing more than entertainment, a distraction to deter us from the ultimate fact that we will perish and die.
