Pointers welcome. Most tracks are unfinished.
Reminds me a bit of Dinosaur Jr. I'm not sure how lo-fi you are aiming to go (which is a matter of taste), but I thought that your playing could just use a little practice.
You have an interesting way of choosing and combining samples. It reminds me of a mix between HANL and the bits in between Mars Volta songs lol. I liked it.
Nice synths bro. I'm not a fan of the over-compressed or clipping bass, but I know others may enjoy it. It's like I'm listening to Adult Swim
Caught my attention right away. Interesting use and reuse of materials. Production and performances are really enjoyable.
Cool logo btw, it's like a triple entendre

Dude this is so good. I usually don't like the noir-type jazz stuff, but what I'm hearing is really fresh and full of character

>Industrial/Noise Rock, final track of an EP, definitely the most savage thing on it
I enjoyed this. I feel like maybe it could benefit from something, but I'm not sure what, and I'm also not sure what your end-game is. Some songs like Drowning remind a little of Grouper and it'd be cool to hear lots of ambient noise/found sound/whatever in that one. And You Say reminds me of the feeliest emo acoustic and could benefit from maybe a lo-fi drum set (think Elliott Smith's early days). On other songs, I wish I could hear maybe one or two vocal refrains here and there. Idk, this is all my bias obviously. I enjoyed what I heard, keep going.
I was just about to post this and then Bipolar came on. You have a nice voice! Use it more
yous gotsta be in some sort of videogame soundtrach industry. truly legit. close to them chillhop videos we find on youtube nowadays...somehow, this resonates with me more. maybe because its an actual whole song instead of bits and pieces of songs, lol... well anywasy.. good stuff man.

This rocks. The production is so good. Do you record yourself or take it somewhere?
The rock side of me wants more repetition in your latest ep, but the noise side of me is satisfied. I'm interested in seeing where you go from there.

thank u :)
I like the aesthetic. Your playing is great! Do you have anyone to jam with? I feel like this really lends itself to be jammed on with multiple people. In my opinion, the way the percussion is at the moment makes it feel a little repetitive for my tastes, but I figured maybe you don't have a drummer? I'd also suggest experimenting with different instruments and tones. But overall I like the vibes.

dope... no other words can describe. super talented!!
Thanks alot no i don't have a drummer and I don't have alot of experience with percussion that's why i try to keep them simple sadly
In that case, I would just try using different chord progressions and keys to avoid sounding the same in some songs.
It's always hard to find decent musicians

Love the chill melody and vibe! Good selection of sounds too
Nice Drums Patterns, love the cool little ambient piano (Sounds like a piano) in the back.
Those soft but so vital vocals in No Teeth got me hard, love the levels of the drums.
Lovv it, smooth but rapid hi hats and intresting choice of percussion (Triangle?) I'm wearing headphones so I felt the chords panning was pretty cool too.
Cool choice of ambient cars passing by in Burning Daylight, excited to see more

I don't know what my end game is either? Do you mean like in regards to life, or like why I'm posting, or why I try to play? The answer to all that is I don't know. Kinda just meandering around places I don't belong but I don't belong anywhere.
I need to figure out how to get good sounding percussion. I don't want to buy a drum set but I need some sort of rhythm and maybe that'd help since my rhythm is pretty daniel johnston-tier.
Thank you for your feedback, it's fucking awesome to get something to keep in mind next time I try to make something.
I like it. Very nice and chill guitar playing that, but soothing
By end-game I just mean the style you are aiming for.
As for percussion you could even use household objects, but I think the presence of percussion at all could be cool. But I do think that the simplicity in your music is one of its strengths.
still finding my sound.. check out all the songs and send some feedback.. would love to hear what yall think.... thank you to those whom have already checked out a couple of the songs... much appreciated. also... I will do the same back.. Keep the soundcloud community alive and well. Keep up the hard work yall.
Listened to “The Rise”
I like the kinda 8 bit synths you used on the Rise. The rhythm was funky and I liked what you did with changing up the melody sometimes so it always felt interesting. The only advice I would give to you would be flesh out your synths as they’re kinda thin sounding
this is what im talking about.. .much love... thank you for the feedback.. this is what helps us grow!!!
I agree Bipolar was steez!!!
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate you saying it was chill and soothing. I definitely like music that is soothing, life is stressful enough
Thank you again, simplicity has always appealed to me. I'll definitely try to incorporate some kind of percussion going forward. Yeah I don't really have a goal style anyways, I like a lot of stuff
new shitty track.

Thanks for the feedback :)
We did it in a studio, with a friend of ours who normally does really high quality modern metal production and stuff (with the sample replaced drums and everything - not my bag musically, and not how I would record music, but immaculately produced stuff). He wanted to do something different with us, and he's a talented guy, so he completely nailed it.
Listened to MoreTrap lmao
It was actually pretty decent for just starting out. You have a good sense of rhythm and percussion which is more than a lot of beginners can say. As you get to learn and understand FL more in sure you’ll get a better hang of how to make rhythms and also how to use external plugins. On that note I would just say to try and play around with all of the different sounds FL has. A lot of it sounds too basic, but there are some interesting and unique sounds you can use to flesh out your songs

Some experimental electronic shit we cooked up last night
After a very very very brief run through I have a couple of tips. Work on delivery and finding a voice for yourself. Right now it’s decent but generic sounding. Also you voice kinda sounds like a discount Eminem, try to do something to differentiate yourself. Try ears for beats could also be a lot better. I felt that sometimes you didn’t feet the beats that you were rapping on or also it didn’t fit the general tone of the song. One of the most important things is how you sound on a beat because contray to popular opinion not just everybody can go on a certain type of beat and sound good

Does anyone care/know about metal in these threads? Most of what I see is electronic and low energy (don't mean that as an insult) stuff.
Like if I say I have a first wave black metal song in the vein of Bathory and Hellhammer would anyone care or even like it?
