He has a point
I'll start reviewing,
I love the groovy bass, and your voice is quite the joy to hear. Make the mix a little louder and your voice quieter and you can make it man. You got the voice man.
This was really interesting to listen to, felt like a quick novel read to be honest. But I much enjoyed the second part with it's eerie gospel sounds. It really is a mood settler and a good one at most. Nice work.
I enjoy these songs with no structure just what you can make of it, it really does sound like whatever grand and magnificent we take for granted is just slowly degrading over time. Really cool sounds as well.
Defs rec, my favorite track in this thread right now. It sounds so peaceful and calming to the ears and the creative drums and vocal delivery is something off the charts. Lovely work man.
I can appreciate the sounds, that's really all i have to say.
Thank you all for this hearing pleasure, would love to listen to some more, so keep it up guys. :)
And I forgot to tag OP in my first review. Apologies

I listen to everyone, but there are unfortunately several re-visitors who simply drop their link and leave every time. It's just oblivious because it's not like anyone is going to go to their page unless they were the one of the first replies.
I find that the people who's music is really really good, usually get either 1 or no reccs. So yeh I do listen to just about everyone.
that being said
this is pretty cool

most people just shill, not gonna lie. the community of people who actually provide feedback are usually nice, sometimes detrimentally so. I've been told off before for giving honest constructive criticism that wasn't being mean, but some people get mad if you don't only say positive things.
to answer your question, yes most people shill. but maybe a quarter of people do actually listen and provide feedback
>I've been told off before for giving honest constructive criticism that wasn't being mean, but some people get mad if you don't only say positive things.
fucking 10000x this. It's because they're young producers; they don't know what's good for them. People just want their ego tickled. Fucking abhorrent.
Most people already know their weaknesses, they just need a pat on the back to not give up so they can get over them.
Tight af!!! love the glitchdrums!

Yeh but what if they don't. Which is 99% of the time the case in these threads. People who are distributing bad music have to think it's good, otherwise they would keep it to themselves. Soundcloud kiddies think their music is good enough for other people to hear and respect. They're deluded
Imo, and this might sound like I'm speaking for myself, but I think it applies to a lot of people, they just want to be heard, not get big, and they don't have anyone else to show
We all know irl people don't care about anyone's music unless it's recorded with a 4k/60fps camera and whispersung with an acoustic.
SC is just another outlet to be heard by someone, posting regularly gets to show your improvement and development, and that's what these threads are supposed to be for, support, not "HEY GUYS LOOK AT MY RADIO-READY PROJECT, GET ME TO THE TOP BOIS"
I think 99% is a little harsh, I think the huge majority of people are trying to get better knowing they're not the best they can be, and most people's definition of constructive criticism is "work on your voice" or something really vapid and general that people are always going to be working on improving regardless, just by making more and more music.
The criticism I enjoy usually gives solutions, like cutting certain frequencies, naming a purchase that would impact the sound the most, not just "figure it out" because that's where most people are at.
Yo that bad juju song is actually really really good

Hey all I am back! Time to check out some of your stuff again.
This is good I like the 808 and the that sort of bell that plays throughout the track, with the hard bass vibe it still gives me the idea it is part of something more spooky/scary involved. Nice work
Alrighty big one, let's see..
Filler has this insane feel of 90's instructional video vibe. The pad work is very fucking nice and the fucking squeak synth gives off the 90's vibe the most. You went the Aphex Twin route, calling this a dance tune EP but it's mostly minimal ambient noise. which is still funny to me.
Sick Beat No. 2 has the hard swooping bass that is just quite jarring. The odd lofi sounds with some synth sounds that sweep pass the ear give it a very sinister feel, and almost out of body experience tune if you will.
Noise Complaint is just solid noise with lots of cool ass sounds just shooting at you in distances, falling and springing up at you. Real good one, my favorite track out of this EP,
Pam Pam just feels like a demo with a jump scare at the end. Hehe
Thunder Boy is a great ender and has such a bleak outlook, and it's one of those tracks that actually fades out so that it tells you "this shit is over and done, get out"
Well done on this EP, funny joke name and funny playful troll like aesthetic. 7/10
Keep the music coming! Really cool experimental vibe off this thread. Apart from the lo fi vapor trap shit this is fucking great!!
>they just want to be heard, not get big
I agree with you there. What I'm saying is nobody comes here looking for "solutions" to a problem they don't know they have. They come here to have anonymous people give them a sense of validation, and they usually won't find it because their music is shit. Nobody comes here to build a community either, which is really what should be happening.

Already familiar with these, do check em out.
I definitely like it, especially the more acid oriented moments, and the glitchy percussion works most of the time.
I do think that the track could sound better if sped up a bit, but it's good for what it is.
Wish SnifF SnufF was a bit longer, but I do like the fact that the bad audio quality adds a lot of charm to it, otherwise it wouldn't sound as menacing as it does.

Are you okay, dude?
Sounds like you're dying.
And why are you singing over some random garbage youtube instrumental? Is this actually a serious attempt at music making? What the fuck
Holy shit this is bad. I mean objectively bad.
- Rips off stock instrumental tracks from youtube
-Mumbles incoherently and out of tune over it
-Tries to pass it off as an original song.
This really looks and sounds like you shit this out in 45 minutes.
And I'm only saying 45 minutes because you're obviously so technically and musically inept that this 10 minute turd probably took you nearly an hour to "create".

it's not that deep, I just like writing lyrics and stumbled upon the world of stock instrumentals so I sing over them for fun. nothing serious about it, and I shit it out in 20 minutes tops including writing, finding, and recording time. the only thing original about my songs is the lyrics and vocals, I credit the instrumental creators and am open about the robbery.

I'd greatly appreciate your opinions on this track.
I'll try to check everybody's work and leave some feedback.
The bass buzz is a little too much, i think.
I get that it's supposed to be happy and whatnot, but I think that the staccato bassline is a little too childish.
I like the sounds starting at 1:40.
Great production, although the part beginning at around 0:40 (the bridge?) needs more love. It's boring compared to what came before and comes after it. Also somewhat rapid ending (the piano part). Enjoyed the track in general.
I'm sorry but it sounds like my dad rapping. Beat is alright. I think I hear vocals pitched down an octave, which is cool.
