i just want ppl to acknowledge Courtney's work as a worthy peer

The only listenable nirvana album is their first one. Others are moraly outdated by now.

Hole were better than Nirvana.

thank you

Except every song off of Bleach is great. Nevermind has Come as You Are (a rip off, dreary, boring song) and a bunch of punk throwaways. So does In Utero.
I cant even list all the best songs from Bleach because every single one is worthy of being mentioned.
Plus its their only actual grunge album.

Every System album

Love buzz and sifting were rip offs

She was always more ambitious. Hole debuted with a no wave/noise rock song, farthest thing from what was trendy at the time. Then make their 2nd single a grindcore inspired song about rape and incest.
Nirvana debuts with a dumbed down cover and proceeds to rip off their peers

hounds of love

The Albini mix truly does it justice.

Do you mean the original?

Francis Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle

Yes and no, it was the original mix but didn't get a release in any form until it was pressed to vinyl by accident in 2003.

How would I go about listening to it?

It's on RUTracker

the recent 20th anniversary edition includes the albini mix

Thanks user.

Paper cuts uses the exact same riff as swans your property. Also name the throwaways from both those albums

youtube.com/watch?v=x1U1Ue_5kq8
youtube.com/watch?v=vabnZ9-ex7o

Is a good riff to be fair

>Implying Kurt didn't help her write that album

If you look up the mix of asking for it with kurt's harmony on the "live through this" part you're gonna get goosebumps
it's so good

she has another album that's phenomenal, bud

Billy wrote that one

Both songs sound sludge metal inspired. Nirvana and Melvins had created something similar to that sound years prior, as did black flag and others

lyrics are way too girly. dunno why people never bring up hole's guitarist either when it was those 2 who literally did everything, but she still credited the lyrics to the entire band

Thanks for telling me this. I still think paper cuts sounds like swans your property

He barely helped her she would've mentioned it she even mentioned her bassist as a songwriter

Well yeah it does, that was the point. Kurt was a magpie. He only even avoided being sued for Come as You Are by 'killing himself'.

you're like those dumbasses in /lit/ that think Percy Shelley secretly wrote frankenstein (all he did was fuck it up)

I had no idea people thought this, but now I shall push this theory whenever I can just to upset you.

yeah I'll do it too

btw Percy Shelley secretly wrote frankenstein

Who's the faggot that keeps spamming this band?
Just as bad as that Grimesfag

Yeah it sounds similar to Swans, but there's no specific song to name that Nirvana ripped off.

Also Stay Away sounds too much like 3 other songs on Nevermind, and Tourettes, Radio Unit

Okay, I've just gotten linked this thread from one of my peers over on /lit/erature. You've really upset the apple cart. Why do you troglodytes PERSIST on pushing the Percy theory?
Cut it out RIGHT now, got it?

best pop album of the 21st century desu

Donald Fagen also helped Courtney Love pen Kurt's suicide letter

True fact

Or any Daft Punk album for that matter

Attached: Daftpunk-homework.jpg (300x300, 65K)

It was probably assisted suicide.

Wrong.

>Best
All Apologies

Rape Me

Yeah I think so too, but it’s still just opinion

>Mellon Collie
>Joshua Tree
>Speaking In Tongues
>Damn.
>Purple Rain
>Awaken my Love
>The Suburbs
> etc.

The mainstream isn’t bad by nature,

>not having Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol as the best

Otherwise pretty good desu

That would be the contrarion pick though.

Mellon Collie would have been a lot better if

1) half the tracks were cut
2) the production wasn't shit

don't fight it, you know it's true

It’s not my fault you don’t understand the appeal, man. Fuck off

I’m sorry that was mean of me.

I believe the long run time and “dry” production fits the tone of the record perfectly. Considering Corgan is a real life vampire, the music is pummeling, tragic, and sometimes beautiful. It might seem all a bit one note for some, but for me it’s nice as fuck

>not Dookie
what a waste of dubs

Most mainstream and acessible album from NIN, also my favorite one.

alt-normie fuck off

this isn't mainstream also fuck off

Milk It isn't a bad song but it drags on a bit. The song doesn't offer much new after the first verse and chorus. Also,
>he doesn't like All Apologies
