Can we have another thread about movies that 'just exist'? Nobody remembers them and they've contributed nothing to the human consciousness.
Movies that 'just exist'

every Marvel movie, almost every gangster movie made in the past 2 decades.
lord of the rings
Here we fucking go
Arguably The Hobbit trilogy could be eligible if we're going there
John Goodman was the only memorable part of that movie
Dr Strange
Max Payne
Dragonball: Evolution
...
...
this holy shit.
There are way worse Oscar offenders. Remember The Artist? Me neither.
...
And why do we need this thread?
And it was good too. There seem to be too many movies like this. They are just good but don't have any flavor to them. Nothing to make you want another taste.
...
>Dr Strange
This is you being shitty baiter, regardless of your opinion this movie will never be forgotten as long as Kubric is remembered
>The other two movies
Ok I can see your point
Watched this for Burr, he was great and I felt that the other people wanted to make a vanity project before dying, the problem is that they are fucking veterans in the industry yet they allowed two old men to use an industrial piece of machinery on a cementery with none the wiser and got the kid there without telling her why she was leaving her job to go to a cementery for no reason based on the word of a guy she met 20 min earlier
kill yourself, people have already forgotten about Dr Strange.
Middle Men
One could only wish they left no scar on the conscious. Not even the most vile porn can scrub my brain of this abominable trilogy.
Not me, I'll even buy the bluray
Might as well go give your local rabbi a blowjob while you're at it.
>dr strange
>kubrick
user, are you actually retarded?
Yep, I really liked it but had and still have no desire to give it a second viewing.
But everybody remembers the avengers
Fuck is there a specific phrase for this? All I can think of is "mediocre" but it doesn't quite capture the reluctance towards watching it again.
For some reason your picture reminded me of this movie. I don't even remember any of it, except that it was like "Oceans Eleven, but all of the different thieves hate each other and none are charismatic enough to carry a movie".
it was alright
>Dr Strange
>Kubric
What the fuck are you smoking
The Artist was the worst example of "The Academy" being a force in its own interest, and not actually helping the film industry or the 'magic' that they keep telling us is a part of movies.
The fact that Fury Road got a best picture nod a couple of years back is hopefully a step in the right direction. Movies can be fun if they're well made and keep your interest. Strange, right?
He's obviously being lolol man and switching Doctor Strange and Dr. Strangelove.
...
I watched this around the same time as Shoot Em Up, and for the longest time I kept confusing them and couldnt remember which was which.
and leave a tip
I regularly remember and think about The Gambler. I loved this movie and was very surprised it didn't get more talk when it came out.
because it fucking sucked
Nope, you're objectively wrong.
I didn't care for it. I wasn't particularly invested in the character and the situations he got himself into weren't exciting, they were just annoying.
The original is much better
It was boring af senpai
Maybe the last movie.
They're not really comparable. They're very different beasts.
>the artist is a step in the wrong direction
>fury road isn't
Maybe if it got special effects. Not best picture.
...
>The fact that Fury Road got a best picture nod a couple of years back is hopefully a step in the right direction
This was my first introduction to DDaddario so I'll never forget it.
Formulaic? Derivative? Played?
All of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies
ITT: movies you can watch on tv
Yeah, Wahlberg's done a lot of those...
the what now?
>la la land in 10 years
happened to Chicago too
...
Fury Road is a action movie masterpiece like Terminator 2 or Die Hard
You know, with ralph fiennes and uma thurman.
Only the first one is worth a shit
it was an average movie that was directed well.
Knowledge of this film's existence falls out of your brain the second the credits roll and doesn't come back until the next time it's on basic cable at 2am.
Personally I can tolerate the second one as well but otherwise agreed
I remember the ending to this being stupid.
Cirque Du Freak, great book series growing up, fucking rekt movie tho, bye dreams. And faggot actor for favorite character. feelsbadmen
Every Marvel flick.
The Black Cauldren.
A Disney animated movie from the mid 80's that almost killed Disney's animation department. It left no cultural mark at all outside of the changes made to the animation division, changes that resulted in the 90's renaissance of Disney classics.
Nice trips but also I really didn't like the end reveal of the series and felt like it was just super unnecessary and the last line was super dumb too. The rest of the series was really great though.
I liked smokin' aces
nah, no way
The flick as a whole may be so-so but it's got quite a cast and a lot of memorable scenes and characters
