I can legitimately genuinely tell you right now that I'm smarter than that guy.
It was dumbed down to the point that a conservative who literally thinks the world is 6000 years old could understand.
Sadly those people refused to watch the show.
Everyone else who doesnt refuse science and passed the 5th grade werent being taught much of anything with the show.
It was a huge waste
Now this poster knows how to fedora tip!
I like how you equate conservatism with Biblical literalists
Rent the original with Carl Sagan and really appreciate a vast intellect expertly imparting knowledge, this guy is no Sagan.
I like how you equate liberalism with SJWs
please don't be racist okay he's obviously just as good as segan if not better and he's black too which is important even though tbqh i havent seen that old series from the 60s
Are we talking modern liberalism or classical liberalism?
inb4 no reply
Modern liberalism
Yeah it's literally the same pal
Carl Sagan is burning in hell right now
Hurr durr Sam Hyde called him black scientist man so Im going to hurr durr.
...
Well you arent going to find science deniers on the other side of the political spectrum now would we?
I mean the denial of science is one of the big selling points of the GOP right now.

Oh, the left has absolutely no claim over science. Leftists can't seem to understand the evidence for socialism being doomed to fail. Funny that.
Besides Climate scepticism isn't unscientific. Scepticism is an important part of science, as any intelligent person knows.
No its not
Prove it
>gays are born gay!
>gender has no biological basis!
>if someone is taller than another person it is literally just because of the capitalist mode of production
>Climate scepticism isn't unscientific.
The scientific method with rigorous peer reviewing is scientific.
A bunch of politicians and Exxon higher ups being "skeptical" of what the current conclusions that NASA and other scientists have made is not "scientific".
>gender and gay issues being decided by a 2000 year old book instead of ongoing research
Interesting
I'm not a bible fag, I'm talking about some of queer theory's founding ideas being proven wrong. All ideologues ignore science that they don't want to believe, it's just that the right's science denial presents a more clear and present danger at this moment.
I won't pretend you haven't heard about the insanity happening in the scientific community to try to create consensus on climate change, suppressing facts and people who don't toe the line. While this is ongoing and you fail to address it properly, you've absolutely lost any claim to science.
>Bill Maher
He's literally saying that the Left hasn't done a good job of carving out a place for their less extreme elements. He's describing the exact problem I'm telling you about. You're all swimming in the same shit. I thank you for proving my point for me
>I'm talking about some of queer theory's founding ideas being proven wrong
None of the theories have been proven right or wrong.
We know almost nothing about neurosciences, and the whole point of science is to be flexible when concrete proof comes in.
>All ideologues ignore science that they don't want to believe
Where are these "queer theories" that have been proven wrong?
>insanity happening in the scientific community to try to create consensus on climate change, suppressing facts and people who don't toe the line.
Oh, so pretty much the same stuff oil companies have been doing since the 60s?
Just because there is corruption everywhere, doesnt mean that all of it is corrupt.
>He's literally saying that the Left hasn't done a good job of carving out a place for their less extreme elements.
The right has done an equally poor job
Tyson just doesn't have the soothing charisma that Carl Sagan had.
Neil Degrasse Tyson is just an annoying overly-opinionated asshole excuse for a scientist who constantly acts like he thinks he's above most people.
Carl Sagan is pretty much what it would be like if Mister Rogers became a science teacher. Just hearing him talk about shit is pleasant.
