Takes the power from the nearby sun, right?

We disable the shields

It's powered by death sticks

You don't want to sell me death sticks

I'll take those digits though

We can bypass the shield with our meme magic!

Okay, so it sucks up its sun. Then what? For shot #2, do you move the whole planet toward another star? Seems like a difficult way to do a follow-up shot.

this nigga still using camrip screenshots

This entire scene was a parody. Well done Jar Jar Abrams you fucking turd.

Dyson sphere

Do you really expect a serious answer?
Its a children's movie. Just watch and laff.

Nice trips, but it's one shot is kind of a warhead that have 5 or so seeking missiles. So as long as you don't have more than five planets to destroy I guess you only need to shoot once. Kinda like the golden gun.

A really fucking big nuclear fission reactor.

Star Wars is science fantasy, not science fiction. They never say how hyper drives work, or lightsabers, or anything for that matter, because it's not sci-fi.

If you look up the energy the Star Destroyers generate/use it's absolutely ridiculous.

I sucks up the sun through hyperspace and also fires through hyperspace

Nah it was designed to get blown up by rebels before the first star was used up.

It's not that big. It's smaller than the moon.
It may have been in development for awhile, considering the Empire have an entire base dedicated to all their plans.
Finally, it's a movie. A lazy, poorly written movie where it's up to you or some other Disney Official Canon to fill in the blanks.

The power output of a typical G sequence star is in the 10^26 W range. Not enough to destroy a planet, never mind multiple ones across the galaxy.

How does it compress the star?
Does it require the ENTIRE sun for 1 shot?

>this fragment split of the former Empire which is much smaller
>has the technologgy and resources to make something ten times as powerful as death star

They could have fixed the whole movie by making Starkiller Base's power derived not from "the sun", but have the planet be filled with Sith ruins, imbued with dark side power, and with great deposits of Kyber.

This combined with death star technology explains its power. It would also tease the power of the dark side in Snoke and Kylo, and the First order, and explain how the FO held out so long.

It also fixes some other parts of the movie

>no retarded entire planet blowing up, they just have to blow up the firing base and sith temples
>Finn sees Kylo using the dark side, as well as the dark side shit going on the planet, and has force visions, flashbacks of the evil of the dark sdie. this establishes his force sensitivity and gives him a legitimate reason to leave instead of "they killed some people".
>At the climax, when Rey fights Kylo, the main Sith temples of the planet are blown up. This takes Kylo off guard, and he feels a "disturbance in the dark side". Legitimizes his defeat by Rey
>Hux and Kylo still have a reason to flee, as their troops are overwhelmed.

Most importantly, the final scene
>they can have a land battle with ground troops, which the new SW movies have shown to be their strong points.
>It lessens the similarity to the plot of 4.

It would also demonstrate how much more powerful the New Republic is than the First Order, which 7 failed to accurately demonstrate.

>The First Galactic Empire!
Was it? Didn't the Sith have some kind of Empire before the jedi wrecked their shit and Bane formed the rule of 2?
