Relaxed, not too aggressive, atmospheric, of a more mellow persuasion, with just walls of static-sounding distortion flooding your ears. Bonus points if slightly psychedelic or trance-inducing. No keyboards, if at all possible. Preferrably late 80s/early 90s. Metal accepted but only if it's not yet another TH clone. Give us a hand, lads
