I made the reaction image you just posted with and Teles are great country guitars. Now apologize to Teles and thank me for the reaction image.

What the fuck, my dudes, this thing is so fr*cking noisy (especially with my shitty stagg wall wart). Is the HM-2 as noisy?
Am I supposed to glue a noise gate to it, or just not dime the mids knob? Wouldn't that just make me a soyboy? Would you guys make fun of me then? I hope not.
Enlighten me on your experiences with the HM300/HM-2/any other clones.
>my dudes, this thing is so fr*cking noisy >It's a Behringer There's your problem
Mason Myers
Halp. Trying to decide on a new head. Got around $600, looking for > 3 band EQ > Effects loop > Good cleans > Power soak I need to be able to gain a low gain bluesy sort of grit sound out of it, as well as cleans. Do not need or want high gain. Do not need or want onboard effects of any kind. Can be 1 or 2 channel. Thinking Hughes and kettner TM 18 but I think it might sound too sterile. The Marshall origin that's coming out also looks very interesting What do you guys think. Egnater maybe?
Gavin Sanchez
>my dudes Please stop trying to be cool you fucking faggot
Austin Robinson
>Dime >Soyboy >My dudes >censoring your post >wondering why a $20 plastic pedal sounds bad Fuck off and die
David Allen
stop taking anime pictures and shittily photoshopping guitars into them
James Nelson
>buys a plastic pedal with no metal electrical shielding for the components inside >is surprised when it's noisy Don't buy plastic pedals. >filename Nice.
Cooper Sullivan
I also own the FZ-2 clone and it works very well with the same shitty wall wart. They mostly make the same circuits as the boss pedals with cheaper components.
Getting back to the main topic: It feels like the HM-2 circuit is naturally very noisy, and I was looking for someone to confirm this for me.
Electricity doesn't travel through plastic, pedals aren't "shielded" for being inside a metal box instead of plastic, and nobody is lining the inside of their cheap pedals with tinfoil or anything, because that would be dumb. Either way, if I was worried about pedals being noisy, I sure as fuck wouldn't go for Boss pedals.
Vox MV50 (of your choice) and a Harley Benton G212 Vintage cab.
Aiden Martinez
Yes, I'm the one that told you to fuck off and die for being cancer. But now you're not being cancer so I'll actually answer. My pedal was very noise as well. You're right about it partly being just inherent to the setup of that circuit but also consider that it's a $20 piece of trash made as cheaply as possible. Joyo makes better stuff ffs
Caleb Brooks
>Harley Benton Absolutely disgusting. I already have a killer cab, what I need is an amp. And I don't know how I feel about numale tube yet. Never had a chance to try one
Easton Collins
what do you mean by Sam isnt very good
Xavier Ortiz
keep talking about him idiot
Aaron Wilson
Lmao shut up Sam
James King
That things loaded with 2 Celestion Vintage 30s for $230
Oliver Robinson
Hwut? That's actually a great deal. Harley Benton just tends to be shit
Bentley Russell
Yeah, don't be so quick to dismiss.
Ethan Jackson
soloboy spoted, Clean your shack i can smell it from here !
Carson Nguyen
>recently tried a vox AC10 >crunch sounds awful >cleans sound okay >Fender Blues Jr. III sounds 10x better I never knew vox what was such shite
Juan Cruz
your fault for not swaping out the toobs probably you think every amp sound the same ´coz you came from a Katana.
Zachary Jenkins
You guys know the drill by now. Say it with me. The allure...
I don't think the gentlemen at the guitar shop would switch out the tubes just for me.
Nathaniel Bell
Yeah I figured. I don't think Joyo makes a clone of that, though. As far as I can tell, it's either the original, the pink barbie plastic version or the boutique stuff. And from your reply, It still appears to me that the most useful upgrade would be the introduction of a noise gate.
If it's really that pedal you desire then yes but there are better distortion pedals under $100 that may not require one. Say, look into the Joyo bullet metal
Jordan Wood
Personally I use one of these but I am told it is outdated, and I don't think it gets quite as brootal as what you want. I don't really have a good pedal recommendation as I don't play metal. That just happened to be the first pedal I ever bought I have it all taken apart somewhere
It is indeed. I literally just got it to play some Entombed riffs when I get bored of practicing. Thanks for the input bud.
Are you recommending this as an alternative? Did you reply to the wrong post?
I really dig Big Muffs. In fact, I've been drooling over pic related for a while. Right now I'm really just chasing that swedeath chainsaw tone, though.
What in the dick do you mean by "outdated" anyway? It's not cool and hip anymore?
Some guy said the Germanium changes the sound depending on temperature. I use it exclusively at the moment with just a tuner. I think it works fine, it was only $40
That's pretty neat. I would tell you to put the pedal on a hot plate to see what happens but that's probably not a great idea.
I'm digging it, this demo makes it sound like Bongripper. This one even has a satan/commie flippy switch. I didn't know how much I needed that until now.
Anyone have the chords for Fuwa Fuwa time? Google turned up E A B but that doesn't really sound right imo. I figured I'd ask here before I resorted to transcribing.
>Looks interesting >Google image search >Never heard of this brand >Research >Actually have a pedal I'm interested in >Find out they're in my fucking town
I asked it here relentlessly about a year ago and got no answer
>Is buying a MIDI pickup the only option? How does that work? You buy a MIDI pickup and a device like a keyboard and you're going?
Jace Diaz
whatever it is, make sure you like the fit. I had a thin (almost sharp), lightweight bass for my first two years which was really uncomfy when sitting down. My current is v v heavy, but square so comfy. Cannot play standing as I have tiny shoulders though.
something no one really pays attention to is his very good sense of laid back timing and rhythm. that's like his entire feel, very very laid back. that's probably the hardest thing about trying to sound like him, that really laid back feel isn't easy
Eli Cooper
meant to quote
Jack Williams
do you think he worked on it consciously and actively
Ryan Robinson
It's called Blues
Wyatt Roberts
My point was that he'll be fine.
James Gonzalez
i don't think he worked on something like that at all, it's just how he is. some guys naturally play behind the beat, some guys play right on top of it, and others push. he's way behind the beat.
Oliver Murphy
I play .12s in standard tuning and never had blisters
Nathan Morris
Try playing a mans instrument like bass now
Lucas Hill
JCM plays more technically challenging material but he plays it quite poorly.
