When did The Simpsons become unwatchable? What's the most underrated season?

When did The Simpsons become unwatchable? What's the most underrated season?

>When did The Simpsons become unwatchable?

Season 9 showed some cracks. Das Bus is the one that broke the camel's back.

>What's the most underrated season?

Season 19. It isn't close as classic Simpsons quality but they at least tried. Much better than Seaons 11-18 garbage.

I actually like the nautical-themed ep that pic comes from
>Disco Stu has ouzo for two-zo

>used to find them disgusting as a child
>now get turned on by this

Jerked it to those two probably a billion times.

Season 9 is hardest season to discuss. It has some of the Zombie Simpsons elements: Scumbag Homer, wacky and edgy humor.

Despite all of that. They still have some of the best most underrated episodes in the mix

>Lisa's Sax
>The Last Temptation of Krust
>Lisa The Simpson

Zombie Episodes

>Girly Edition
>Trash of the Titans
>This Little Wiggy

Monkey Butlers is a pretty comfy fantasy desu

I just wondered something, are these fat hogs feminist icons yet? They embody everything that that modern feminism loves

It got good in season 3, then got even better for several years before quality starts to decline fast after season 9. I'd say it's somewhat watchable through season 15 and after that it's just not worth it.

Sweet jesus....

I honestly find them very atractive, dunno why they are protrayed as ugly on the serie

For me the cutoff is around 2003-2005. The movie was definitely shit that stole at least one joke and made it shitty.

Dunno, but I really want to rub my dick on their leg hair.

It's harder to tell in cartoon form, but they are supposed to be dirty, chubby, busted middle aged women. If they made a render of what their real life counterparts would look like you would probably find them disgusting.

I bet I wouldn't, that's just my type, especially if hairy.

Patty and Selma will never kidnap you and keep you as a sex slave.

>write "help me" all you want. No one will ever see it

I'd still fap to it tbqh

I'd drop the pen and stick my face right in there.

Me too desu. They look Kat Dennings tier.

>This Little Wiggy
>Zombie Simpsons

Fuck you, it actually humanized Ralph a lot instead of making him into a retard spouting catch phrases all the time.

What did simpsons mean by this?

You and Groening.

YOU JUST KNOW

I stopped watching after the weed episode (Season 13 I guess)

"dude weed lmao" jokes are the prime indicator the writers hit rock bottom, it's even lower than toilet humor

Season Nine I think is considered by the creators as when they let it get clunky, most of them felt that the real Seymour Skinner episode was a bit too mental
I agree with this, but the season itself is watchable even as some classic episodes in it
I even enjoy Trash of the Titans because I used to have it on VHS and the nostalgia factor, same goes for Das Bus, had it on VHS, enjoy it for the nostalgia, the ending is a bit of a kick in the face like Seymour Skinner episode.

I don't believe that they have an underrated season as the classic episodes are pretty much evenly spread over seasons 3-8

Really hated Lisa the Vegetarian as it was the point where Lisa turned from voice of reason to whiney ungrateful bitch that forces her beliefs on people, but she's reasonably tolerable afterwards. Until the inevitable decline.

>My key...

13 was an odd season for me and where I stopped watching live. I think the one where Homer fights Ron Howard all the time or when Bart befriending the old western movie star was when I finally called it quits.

Ya mate, if it weren't for the hair on the legs there (which can be shaven off anyway) they'd be great slampiggies.

>more apostle pics when?

That Skinner episode has some the most touching scenes/premise in the whole series. I don't know why the writers and fans got so butthurt over a side character being used in a new way

>You've led quite a life Tamzarian
>It's your life, I just kept it warm for you

THICC

>>Ya mate, if it weren't for the hair on the legs there (which can be shaven off anyway)
Remove thyself.

I would never, ever watch ANY season of zombie simpsons no matter how fucking "underrated" or "almost close to the original" you think it is. That's like sitting in a room full of militant feminist sjws who aren't ACTIVELY violently protesting against the patriarchy; they might seem tame and harmless for a brief 22 minutes or so but you just know they're brimming over with fetid shit on the inside.

>Lisa the Simpson
that's a terrible fucking episode, and the first one to fully display Lisa's transformation from "precocious little girl" to "middle-aged liberal cunt trapped in little girl's body"

Cucked hollywood niggerized

the only reason they are not black is because ugly

Family guy got cucked to.

The Seymour episode was a left-over from the S7-8 showrunners. It's in the same vein as S8's finale.

I still appreciate it as an episode, but I can see where a lot of critics found it a little bit mental

what episode was this in?

uhh... tickerrrr

>Season 19
See now, you just threw that number at random, fuck off.

except the season 8 finale is actually funny

The show started going downhill at around season 10 imo, but up until 15 or so it was still watchable. The few episodes I've seen from the most modern seasons made me cringe so hard I had to stop watching. The Simpsons is genuinely disgusting now.

>...or when Bart befriending the old western movie star was when I finally called it quits.

Honestly, that's my favourite episode from that season. I've rewatched it loadsa times. I note that it was penned by Swartzwelder.

Overall I'd say S13 is the last one I still quite like.

Season 4 is best season. season 7 is where it went downhill

>season 7 is where it went downhill
