Sup Forums is for capeshit discussions. If you want to discuss actual cinema, head over to Reddit.

Although not lost, just unreleased, I would like to see this removed trap from Saw IV.

This movie, Marie-Louise ou la Permission, might be unattainable entirely besides the original print that's being held somewhere in Paris where it has been shown once in the 2000s (recordings of a few minutes of that screening are on Youtube).

Also, there's that Spongebob live action movie Sup Forums was searching for (which probably never existed).

The Chaplin lost movie.

a few suicide tapes, serial killing tapes, maybe some porn. nothing more than that.

The Day The Clown Cried would have been worth a watch I think, pity it will never get released

>ywn get to see the david ray parker tapes

Alien3 autopsy scene. I swear I thought I saw the original uncensored version when I was a kid.

the one with newt being torn open?

It's basically Holocaust Oscar bait. You're not missing out on anything

That's the one. I remember having a weird fascination with that scene. Unfortunately now that scene seems to be non-existent

>Also, there's that Spongebob live action movie Sup Forums was searching for (which probably never existed).

They got in contact with the director or producer or something, there was a script in place but it never got made. Supposedly the script is being re-written and the movie is getting on Kickstarter at some point but no one's heard anything in something like a year

King Kong Appears In Edo
If it is indeed real then it changes the entire history of monster movies since Godzilla would no longer be the first suitmation monster.

Hey me too, I remember it very clearly actually with the doctor saying "lungs filled with fluid" and Ripley looking into the dead eyes. This is lost footage now?

I've seen it as well... You must be watching the directors cuts and not the original. I remember when I used to rent it out as a kid and it being on the copy

This is the lost sequel to Birth of a Nation, supposedly Europe invades the US in that one.

It is also the first film sequel ever made. Only a couple of stills exist.

...

The director's cut where uncle ben turns new york city into the fourth reich.

4 devils

I saw it when I first watched it on demand. It featured Ripley trying to find the alien inside by feeling around and then cutting her open, i believe with quick flashes of Newt's face. I know her face is seen because it looks totally different from the screaming one they find in the beginning.

Murnau's Four Devils
The 9 hours cut of "Greed"
The director's cut of "Event Horizon"
The director's cut of "A New Leaf"
The director's cut of "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes"
The undubbed version of "La Dolce Vita"

Just watched Wake in Fright the other day and it quickly became one of my all time favorites.

Later found out how the movie was released in 1971 without much success and literally lost for 40 years until someone found the negative copy in a warehouse and they restored and rereleased the movie after all those years.

It's one of the only films that were actually screened at Cannes two times because Scorsese absolutely loves that film.

I think you might have some false memories of the movie.

El Topo and The Holy Mountain were unavailable outside of the odd film festival for like 30 years

I remember that scene too!
Mandela effect in full force...

reminder that there is still hope bros

Apparently the CIA is allegedly in hold of anne hathaway's pics where she's wearing nothing but pantyhoses circa 2008

These will go out in 200 years probably.

That's just the normal autopsy scene, what's missing was graphic shots of her ribcage being hacked open. and no you never saw it

i did user...

...

I don't remember anything about this. What was the original intention of the glass box trap and was it filmed?

>The director's cut of American History X
The cut that Edward Norton did is great but I would love to see what Tony Kaye had in mind.
>The director's cut of Dune
I don't think David Lynch ever got to put together a director's cut but there's a ton of stuff in the screenplay that was cut out of the film. A director's cut that stays 100% faithful to the screenplay would be around 3 hours long. All of the cut footage still exists, the problem is David has disowned Dune. Over the years Universal has tried to get him to make a director's cut since it could be a very profitable home video release but David has always turned them down.
>The director's cut of Alien 3
David Fincher never got to make his own cut of Alien 3 but now the studio would bend over backwards for him to make a director's cut. The problem is Fincher's attitude towards Alien 3 is the same as Lynch's attitude towards Dune.

The Other Side of the Wind
It is not exactly lost, but kept unreleased because of legal bullshit.

I have about 20 minutes of it, and it looks interesting.

...

The gay porno about a guy who has an erotic obsession with Jesus Christ

Him

Miami Connection kinda was

I just realized none of this stuff is technically lost since all of the cut footage exists.

That's a hoax. Jerry said in a recent interview he's arranged so no one will be able to see it after he's dead.

dub dubs for patrician taste.
what i would give to see Four Devils.

the lost 17 minutes of 2001 that Kubrick cut at last minute.
It was found in a salt mine vault in Nevada and now the Kubrick estate owns it with no intentions of releasing it.

Everything that was (((cut))) from Eyes Wide Shut

Is it known what these 17 minutes depicted plotwise?

I'd like to see this aussie dickbag Steve Irwin getting a stingrays spike right up his ass and killing him.

I don't know if it counts, but I'd love to see the 4 hour cut of The Wolf of Wall Street as apparently there's a lot missing

The 6 hour cut of The Phantom Menace.
only the highest functioning autists could survive such kino.

Pretty much all of his unfinished/butchered projects but in particular The Other Side Of The Wind and the original cut of The Magnificent Ambersons.

what do you mean the undubbed version of La Dolce Vita, i recently downloaded this movie, i know italian a bit.
