Guitars

Just bought a Dean ML
What kind of guitars does Sup Forums have and why'd you get it? This one is because of my love for Pantera

I have one of these. I fucking hate it but I don't play seriously enough to justify buying a nice one.

I've got a 2016 Gibson LP Studio with upgraded electronics (threw the pcb shit in the trash) and a Duncan Black Winter in the bridge. 2005 Gibson SG Special "Platinum" that I plan on throwing in a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, and a PAF master in the neck.

I got one of these Guilds a few weeks ago. I love it, but it needs a setup and I can't find anyone in my area I trust to do it.

Not that big a fan of acoustics (Mostly how fat they are as I started with electric) but I love 12 strings. I need to get one soon.

What interests you about 12 strings?
Parlour size guitars might be more to your liking

>no cool green guitars
>find cool green guitar
>available everywhere except USA
What do I do? Besides
>post greentext about green guitar
>?

I would say buy it and have it imported, but there might be some weird regulation preventing that I know Dean can't ship outside of the US due to rosewood regulations

You could find a nice guitar and paint it green

I think that’s why. That said, it’s an Epiphone Casino Coupe which they have in the US in different colors so I’m not sure why else they’d exclude it

wow if only there were a whole general for this one specific topic

Looks awesome! Greens not even my favorite color but green guitars look slick! Why are the majority of guitars black, red or sunburst?

Revstar 502t possibly. Looks really punchy in real life
Revstar does some great guitars with more niche pickup combinations

Those are the most popular colors. If you want something a little out there you got to either look or get it painted yourself. I've got a pink guitar thay fades into purple like a burst

But they’re the most popular because it’s what they produce the most of. There is far less selection in other colors and most people won’t choose solely on color

>What interests you about 12 strings?
I don't know. The sound? It makes everything I've ever played on a normal guitar sound different, but better.

It's pretty dumb to choose based on color. Choose on sound and quality and if you hate the color, repaint it if you want.

Obviously shouldn’t be your top factor but guitar looks should be hold some weight. If you don’t like how it looks you’re less likely to pick it up

True. But the reason why so many guitars are in like 3 colors variants is because those are more likely to sell. It's a lot easier to sell a red guitar than it is a bright pink guitar or an olive green guitar

post it

I did

oh

neat

i'm boring, there's very few colorful guitars i like the look of. matte dark wooden finishes are my favorite, or black fenders with that same red tortoise shell pickguard. subtle greens and blues are nice too.
unless you want to play fun/upbeat or tongue in cheek music memey guitars are kinda off putting i think.

A Yamaha RGX121Z
i’m really jealous
i certainly payed for it, but its worth it. i wont be spending all my time deciding what guitar i want to order now. can get back to practice.

Is it an american vintage reissue?
