A cartoon made purely as an advertising platform for toys actually has a unique appeal with a lot of room for growth.
Then they make a movie with grorious animation, some shit hot voice casting, killer soundtrack and again, decide to kill off many fan favourites just to sell more new toys- which inadvertently gives the movie more weight as a piece of art.
Awesome, but I feel like everything about TF was a fluke.

I watched it for the first time recently. When it got to the "stupid" part, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. So terrible, and Eric Idle's character was just spouting gibberish most of the time.
