Honestly, is Art Angels the pinnacle of pop music? How could other pop albums even compare to this bloody masterpiece?

Real talk: White Light/White Heat is the best VU album.
pet sounds is overrated and frankly kinda boring and whiny. art angels mops the floor with this grandad-pop album.
that trash? no thanks.
Odyssey and Oracle wipes the floor with this desu
ok I agree but want u back is pretty fun
bump
*blocks ur path*
utopia was a boring mess. it's not even catchy/pop.
post literally any other album by her instead
i've heard individual songs that did nothing for me should i really give this a whole listen? nothing i've heard has made me want to continue on but i try to stay open minded
Opinion discarded.
>Protip: Fart Angels only had 2 good songs
Utopia's visuals tho. I want Bjorkfu to make a vr world that I can upload my consciousness into tbqhfam
>Protip: Art Angels only had 2 good songs
lol. you wish. art angels has 14 great songs.
>Utopia's visuals tho. I want Bjorkfu to make a vr world that I can upload my consciousness into tbqhfam
pleb detected. you're more impressed by visuals than the actual music.
not even realiti? watch this video: youtube.com
this is the demo version. she made a different version for the album.
stop it, you fucking fuck
i mean i didn't hate it but i don't see it as something i'd come back to a lot but we'll see some time a month from now i might all of a sudden really be into it
ok. i didn't even like her music right away. it took me quite a long time to get into it.
btw, listen to this older song of hers: youtube.com
most enjoyable one i've heard yet. thanks for genuinely replying instead of the typical responses you make get for for not liking something someone else loves
before you go, try these 3:

they're all older songs and they're all amazing.
liked some better than others but sometimes when it gets too cutesy it kind of gives me a weird feeling. Still I can at least know she's worth looking into more even if synthpop wil probably never be first in line on stuff i want to listen to. At least you've shown me she's more than just the "LoL so Quirky :x" image she seems to portray
she seems very cutesy, but the superb melodies cover that. i can't help but to recommend you 4 more grimes songs:

these are darker and very, very beautiful. songs like these make casual fans turn into huge fans.
>even if synthpop wil probably never be first in line on stuff i want to listen to
in that case i strongly recommend you to check her first 2 albums - geidi primes and halfaxa. they're less pop and more experimental than her visions and art angels. her music has way more depth than her poppier songs. she can do even 10 minutes long experimental dreampop jams: youtube.com
Is this a real picture of her?
yea
From what? Why does she have a mustache?
alright thanks ya'll i'm favorite this thread and keep this in mind. I'll for sure start with the first two albums when I get the chance. To be honest I'm not a fan of her vocals a ton but the arrangements show promise. this is a lot more interesting than I had ever thought and will spend some time with this
ok. her range of style is quite eclectic. she has many interesting songs like these ones (personal favorites):

i adore these songs.
bonus: this live 'ave maria' cover: youtube.com
trust me, you should listen to it at least once. it starts a cappella, and then...
