Like I said, it doesn't really matter to the movies currently, because it's just a vague war that happened forever ago featuring the last vestige of an even more ancient dead race; the Shan lineage is long gone as well. Darth Bane and his Rule of Two would be more pertinent, and that is canon.

That's why The Old Republic stuff is four thousand years before the Empire, so that whatever it does barely affects the main story. It just helps set up so nice lore and names for Luke to look up in the holocrons.

I would have no problem with them ripping off Kreia if they did it right, but they wouldn't.

watch season 1 and 2 again. TCW animation is fucking shit until lucas starting paying for it.
rebels has barely any budget just like those early seasons. but theres no lucas to save them this time.

I'm on season 2 right now, and I already think some of the arcs have been better than some of the films in terms of character building and battles.

S1&2 are def pretty low compared to later seasons but it honestly is still better than what Rebels has put out.

Would I have a more enjoyable viewing experience if I only watched the season premiers, finales, and mid season episodes? Been thinking about picking up the show to catch up on hype, but it seems like those are the only episodes where anything happens.

the animation in TCW's earlier seasons was pretty shit too, it got better when they got a bigger budget. Rebels already is looking better.

While I like how Rebels is getting better(animation-wise, story still shit), their overall art direction is weird. By that I mean the baby-thin lightsabers, muppet yoda and all those weird variations of characters.
Modeling everything after the original concept art was a bad decision desu. Know plenty of people who dropped the show because of how different things look.
