For pushups you can do 1x60, short (you don't get fully up, your top is 1/2 of the average pushup depth)

Ahhh yeah, but that's lazy tricks. When I workout I wanna feel like my muscles are committing suicide. My pushups are REALLY slow, as slow as I can do'em. I think it's much better to do 20 super slow ones than 100 quick half-assed ones. It's not about the count but the pain for me. I measure progress with pain.
