It's a wonderful album, deserving of the platitudes heaped upon it. However, it took me about a year of playing it to really appreciate it. It's NOT an instant love affair. It's an acquired taste. The well-kept secret is, it may not even be their *best* album.

Best album coming through. Pet Sounds was outsold by a mediocre greatest hits album. Pic related had the same incredible production but with catchier songs.
