that quote on your wall, what's it from?
that is the most bizarre video I've seen in a long time. I've no idea how much of the humour is supposed to be ironic or not. crazy.
Fascist
post a pic of ur cat
dead general is dead
mde is neo-reactionary, not fascist. fundementally different movements.
they are probably neither
heads know
you better preparer yourself for the greatest piece of comedy ever
youtu.be
you are such a walking cliché, from the self-deprecating humor to the fuck yeah trump because he pisses of leftists stuff holy shit
things like "I like Sup Forumssic and list it because no one will have sex with me" makes me even wonder if you are actually 18 and not less.
i know this reads like i'm trying to be offensive, but really man, clean your act and get your shit together because it gives a lot of second hand embarrassment
rateyourmusic.com
hey hey, how's everybody doing
You're mostly right, but getting off almost all of that it's such a drag (specially on phone)
But every time I see my description I get embarrassed, so i'll edit that (and other things) later on. Thanks for the advice.
that's a typical radiohead fan

It's more of a thing of building your personality around internet subcultures. The guy is from Argentina and yet is like "TRUMP 2020". There was a guy from Venezuela like that too - imagine living in a collapsing shithole and being like "cute anime girls with MAGA hats!"
Large sectors of the youth feel disilussioned and this thing (the site, it's language and practices) replace a real connection with things. Ironic culture is a cancer
agreed
r8 me, bitches
for the most part I agree with you but
>replace a real connection with things
basically means nothing. It's so vague
I can't say your taste is similar to mine but I can understand your choices
gab.ai/HillaryClinton
Okay. Just curious, what do you like?
in general or out of what you like?
i remember your taste being less boring than this, why did you regress to droning CLT's ghost?
In general for you. What's your taste?
While we're on the subject, what of mine do you like?
Hehe I suppose.
I find it somewhat hard to put it in words, but it would be something to avoid facing problems and reality of life through mechanisms of irony and sarcasm. Like being uncomfortable with your social relationships and thus building a self-deprecating style of humor fetishising depression and loneliness. Investing your attention in the cultural wars of "the left and right" of North American while remaining oblivious to what happens in your context. Something like that.
?
I dig the classic metal stuff(Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden), though most of it I listened to before going on RYM so I haven't gone back recently
I generally like Indie/Shoegaze/Ambient/Psychadelic stuff
didnt your favorite album used to be temps duree, or am i confusing you with someone else
it was surpassed by GMGN and cloud respectively
i dont think I have any EAI rated outside of those two and 'u as in utah' yet
Yeah I totally get what you mean, in general I see it as people using ironic detachment as a way to not have to reveal anything about themselves or be vulnerable. If you admit you care about something you actually have to defend your ideals from criticism(in your own mind at least) but if you just put zero effort in and care about nothing, you don't have to defend your beliefs. "I'm only pretending to be retarded"
i saw ju sei live last summer and i was really hoping they were recording the audio, because it was better than u as in utah. damn shame
> it was better than u as in utah
NANI !?
do you know the setlist ??
>I dig the classic metal stuff(Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden)
That's good.
Outside of Metal, I like a fair share of Punk, especially Oi!, Post-Punk and New Wave. I used to listen to Anarcho-Punk and Crust Punk more often, although frankly, the scene's kinda sad these days. Crust Punk has quite possibly the lowest standards imaginable. There's a large and very public scene to support its output, so pretty much every dreadlocked vegan squatter who manages to scrape out a banal 7" Discharge worship EP has at least a half dozen glowing reviews.
utah wasnt with them, it was mmm on electric guitar instead. she played more melodically but the material had some overlap with that of u as in utah as well as conesolo
it opened with what seemed like a japanese folktale spoken word thing that descended into satanic madness before becoming melodic shredding
ju sei are the modern faust, glad i caught them live & i recommend anyone in japan to visit ftarri
>stop having a different sense of humor than me
Is that class-action lawsuit over the "Sonemic" scam still happening?
>ju sei are the modern faust
I find it really hard to disagree considering the scope of their work over such a small output. any chance it was off their 2017 EP ? I'm downloading it now
i've only listened to the previews but i don't think so
;_;
this ep is great at least guess I'll go back to hunting down live performances on youtube
i think my friend said he talked to sei on twitter dms & she said theyre working on another album. but i may be misremembering
Have you seen the movie The Comedy? It's such an excellent effort at capturing this issue.
That's not the point. At all. Maybe I just didn't explain myself well
might actually make a twitter and ask her myself
what do you think of her obsession with arca
it makes me wonder if he'd do a collab with them. not sure how i'd feel about that
needs to be scooted down, high ratings should be more spread out than low ratings
curve doesn't matter
merge .5, 1.0, and 1.5 into one single value and focus more on degrees of positivity
b-but i thought venezuela was a good example of socialism working hyuck hyuck
a good example of socialism working is north korea
>inb4 parroting fake news
protip: no one is starving there
heads know
sal, i don't have time to teach you about ZOG and geopolitics right now, so i'll let you remain in the matrix
>ZOG
lol
if it wasn't jews who supposedly ran the media then it'd be another group entirely
racist conspiracy theories are not arguments
>protip: no one is starving there
ah yes merely pretending to starve and show clear signs of generational malnutrition
i got waitlisted for the university of chicago, wish me luck boys
~APPLECAT
do people seriously think the 90's famine is ongoing or wasn't the result of natural disasters + collapse of the soviet union
merely pretending ah yes very intelligent had to throw those filthy capitalists off our trail you see
yeah, it would be white people
never been a fan myself but it wouldn't be the first time a collab has been better than expected
these threads are so sad
then it'd be... WOG
and it still wouldn't be a problem. the great thing about freedom of the press is that you don't have to view and read one media outlet if you so choose. there are literally thousands out there. the people who don't know any better (arguably the majority of americans) who just watch fox or CNN their whole lives probably don't deserve to know better.
it wouldn't be WOG because it's already white occupied country
rateyourmusic.com
Why are you the only one making these threads now?
You must not like "psychadelic" that much if you don't know how to spell it.
[2]
rofl you cannot be serious. everyone looks skinny as shit. god only knows what your build is like if this is what your measure of "not starving" looks like.
totally meaningless and vague.
really unsure why your so attached to the idea of north korea not being a shithole but thats ok not my business :o) have fun
Understandable.
>At first they were so regimented - when I walked into the room they would immediately stop chatting and stand up. I would say, 'Guys, you don't need to do that.' And they would all say, 'Good morning, Professor Ben.'
>But that started to change after I bumped into a few of them around Pyongyang. They would tell me about their boyfriend dramas, or where they had lunch. They loved to get me to say English tongue-twisters, and would record me on their phones.
>Karaoke is popular among Griffin's fellow tour guides. Sometimes they go out for an evening of singing in Pyongyang, but Griffin also recalls a long minibus journey when the guides he was travelling with declared it was karaoke time.
>They were two young women, and one of them had a genuinely beautiful, angelic voice. Then the other one stood up - and she had obviously watched Titanic recently. For about 10 minutes we were stuck in this minibus listening to the screechiest, most out-of-tune version of My Heart Will Go On you could ever imagine. She obviously wanted to embrace the opportunity to perform in front of foreigners.
>It was so hard not to laugh. In moments like that you're really suspended out of the politics for a minute. It's just a person - not a scary North Korean.
because i don't believe everything the media tells me and i realize what happens when a country refuses to play by the rules imposed on them
>[2]
Don't quote me and don't post. These threads are so sad.
nah your taking it too far hahaha
norks starving isnt a media lie tinfoil boi, although obviously their political appearance is exaggerated so that we can justify strong-arming them even though their nuclear ambitions are very clearly justified
fact of the matter is that its a totalitarian state (for better or worse) that you would probably not be so keen on defending if you lived there or actually spent any time :o)
oh yes it's the scary slinty-eyed people i'm concerned with, and not its very well documented human rights violations
i bet you think the holocaust or the holodomor was faked too.
>because i don't believe everything the media tells me
there's a difference between doing this and conforming to non-conformity for its own sake (which is what you're doing) -- super sad to witness.
if it's so evident that north koreans are starving in 2018, then it should be easy to find a citation for that right?
>protip a wikipedia page saying north korea has prisons isn't what i'm asking for
best of luck, applecat
After reading 3 sentences of your bio I immediately know you're an obnoxious prick
the funny thing is that these estimates are almost entirely based on the recent sanctions
i don't think anyone outside of people who probably still think that the DPRK is communist thinks people in the country are being whipped in the streets and monuments are being built by everyone in the country simultaneously or something. these anecdotes are absolutely pointless and do nothing to refute most established cases of human rights abuses in the country.
a broken clock is right twice a day -- that's your argument. big shit.
people like you can never be satisfied because you think most sources and general history are being manipulated to bullshit everybody. it's an extremely cowardly position to take.
consider this: why can't it just be that you're uneducated?
did you even read the page lmao
alleged human rights violations usually get sourced back to the same handful of defectors who left during the famine.
defectors are known to be largely manipulated by the south korean government through contracts. defectors are often felons trying to escape justice, or just people seeking celeb status
twitter.com
uneducated people take wikipedia articles at face value
>he will never be your dad
That one is meant for fags like yourself too
no they arent, the citations date back to official dprk sources and unicef studies and reach back to 2014
just ditch the poltard act nobody buys your conspiracy theories
These are the thoughts that keep me up at night.
>no sources
this isn't even fun anymore
>if I ignore that someone refuted my point, the refutation ceases to exist
this is why people dont take you seriously
they applied older statistics to recent developments and got their numbers that way
reuters.com
youre just gonna say they're making it up, so what's the point
>This is the country-wide annual SAM caseload/disease burden with and without complications (60,000) and moderate acute malnutrition caseload with complications (140,000) (Ministry of Public Health, 2015).
you may wish upon a star, that won't change how wrong you are
>quoting the unicef site link again
i posted the reuters article to show you how that 60,000 figure was based on the sanctions
?
