just give us the trophy already tbqhwyf

>tfw just noticed >we play @ Auburn in 2018

No one in West Texas outside of El Paso gives a shit about UTEP, and no one cares about North Texas. Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, etc. would be for U of H because a lot of grads come here to work in the oil industry.

2017 Week 7 UT Power Rankings Sponsored by Taco Bell™ picking up the tabs of 500 students from the student section & Belk, they make western gear or some shit. They also sponsor a bowl, yes they are a real thing.

Miami (The U)
2. Bama
3. Clempson
4. Northwest Missouri State
5. James Madison
6. Washington
7. TCU
8. Wazzu
9. BOOTYBLASTERS
10. Auburn (War Eagle CAWWWWWW)

Honorable mention: Georgia

Holy shit you guys finally started scheduling college teams for non-conference play

I have no memory of this game getting scheduled.

>Atlanta
>1.5 hour drive from Auburn
>38 hour drive from Seattle
>"""""""""neutral site""""""""""

Should be a good game Huskybro.

updated the G5 map for you faggots, the old USM logo was years old.

>fuck Iowa
also
>those 100% nonexistent Tulane and South Alabama regions

FSU has averaged the #4 recruiting class in the nation the last four years, higher than every other team but Bama.

What the fuck went wrong?

no qb

>tfw hot animal fat sizzles and splashes onto your bare stomach

>no one
That's because a P5 team has bandwagoners nationwide, but if someone's a G5 fan you know they're fucking serious.

UTEP has its own SBNation site:
>minerrush.com

... and North Texas/Rice/UTSA/Texas State are only as talked about as the seasons they're having. Odessa/Midland is irrelevant because Muh High School Obsession.

Get rekt, casual.

Y'all DO know that P5 schedules are made like 5 years out, right?

>tfw UW Huskies play UM Wolverines in 2020

W-we aren't pre-prentenders!
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

*loses to computer nerd walk-on internally*

>all he had to do was fall on it

Yes, what's your point?

Putting that game in Atlanta was a dumbshit idea, should've been in Jerryworld. >We had 80% of the Georgia dome when played Missouri there. It's basically a home game.

Not bad. Texas is still ugly as fuck, but that was the original maps fault. And Idaho needs to be removed in about two months.

>basically
No, it's in a larger stadium which means more ticket sales.

Also UW fans aren't poor which means they can afford to fly to the game en masse.

So now you'll finally start playing 9 conference games?

>UW fans aren't poor

UW grads sure, but none of them go to the games.

Your fans are mostly Renton and Everett white trash, stop kidding yourself.

for some reason neither saban nor jimbo have an eye for quarterbacks

>Muh High School Obsession
I live here. Hardly anyone gives a shit.

if you honestly believe that stadium will be any less than 95-5 in favor of auburn idk man

Yup. Idk much about G5 ball in Texas, but I'd assume northern Texas would be split between Texas State, SMU, and Tulsa, with Denton as a small UNT enclave. There's no fucking way UNT has a bigger base than SMU. Absolutely no way.

Last time I was in Dallas I saw SMU apparel among UT, Baylor, and OU wear on fans around town. Not even one TCU fan, let alone UNT.

Reminder that there is a not impossible chance that Texas A&M could meet either Texas or TTech in a bowl game this year.

>tfw your usually crappy, irrelevant team is good this year

>Baylor

There are definitely more A&M and Tech fans in the DFW area than Baylor fans.

Washington scheduled Michigan and Ohio State too!
About time!

>Troy
Which P5 team wants our coach?

Bidding begins at $9 million a year, a company car, and a pair of 14-year-old boys.

>dat 2019 OOC
topkek

That's because Baylor sucks ass. Also they're a bit rapey.

>Yup. Idk much about G5 ball in Texas,
You can stop right there, the rest of your post makes it obvious. Nobody in Texas gives a FUCK about any Okie team, least of all the abomination that is Tulsa.

Most of all of TX, regardless of where, is gonna be UT, A&M, Tech, and some UH around Houston.

SMU is most popular in Dallas, cuz it's literally where their campus us. You didn't see TCU gear because they're in Ft Worth, an entirely different city.

Any SBC/CUSA school is at a disadvantage but if UNT can start winning again, they can make a run at UTSA and TxSt for G5 popularity.

never, make Troy /elite/ for Troy-App State GOAT G5 rivalry development

why coach in the SEC when Saban makes your job expectation natty or bust?

>20th century paradigms

The Pac-12 is the conference of the future, desu

Gameday is going to James Madison
>tfw Gameday will never come to my FCS school

Why coach in the state of Alabama at all?

And yet here we are.

>not NDSU
>not Troy
>not USF
>not SDSU

I object.

It goes UT > OU > A&M > Tech > Baylor=TCU=SMU=OKST in Dallas.

For Houston it’s A&M=UT > LSU > OU=Tech=UH > Baylor.

they are so inclusive and tolerant lately

Can they be stopped?

Week 7 Coaches Poll:

1. Alabama (57 first-place votes)
2. Clemson (8)
3. Penn State
4. Washington
5. Georgia
6. Wisconsin
7. TCU
8. Ohio State
9. Washington State
10. Miami
11. Auburn
12. Oklahoma
13. USC
14. Oklahoma State
15. USF
16. Michigan
17. Va. Tech
18. San Diego State
19. Notre Dame
20. NC State
21. UCF
22. Michigan State
23. Utah
24. Navy
25. Stanford

North Dakota State is no longer kind of the mountain
Troy plays on Wednesday
The other two would have been interesting though
And Herbstreit's game is the Utah @ USC I think so it wouldn't have been that unfeasible to have him do Gameday at San Diego
But lower division games give them back some of their hipster cred they lost during that Times Square Gameday they had

Fuck it just hit me

If Georgia loses to both Auburn and Alabama (big IF, I know), then whoever wins the Iron Bowl is in the CFP.

Holy shit I M P L I C A T I O N S

That first half showed Saquan Barkley ca easily be stopped. Once they play a team like Michigan or Ohio State who has actual defensive depth and can play a full game, they will be exposed.

Kliff must have fucked some other head coach’s wife or something.

>Wazzu #9
>Cuckeyes #10

>Ohio State above Oklahoma
>Utah and Stanford in top 25

Oh coaches poll....

the Notre Dame College Falcons (Cleveland, OH) are ranked #37 in the latest Div II coaches poll!

Week 7 AP Poll:

1 Alabama 6-0
2 Clemson 6-0
3 Penn State 6-0
4 Georgia 6-0
5 Washington 6-0
6 TCU 5-0
7 Wisconsin 5-0
8 Washington State 6-0
9 Ohio State 5-1
10 Auburn 5-1
11 Miami 4-0
12 Oklahoma 4-1
13 USC 5-1
14 Oklahoma State 4-1
15 Virginia Tech 5-1
16 Notre Dame 5-1
17 Michigan 4-1
18 USF 5-0
19 San Diego State 6-0
20 NC State 5-1
21 Michigan State 4-1
22 UCF 4-0
23 Stanford 4-2
24 Texas Tech 4-1
25 Navy 5-0

I wonder if UVa will manage to get ranked at some point

>Stanford
literally why

Can you blame them? We lost more recently and to Iowa State.

G-go Pitt!

I don’t really have a problem with Stanford being ranked. They’ve had a pretty tough schedule. Utah though has no business being ranked, and they’re ranked over Stanford which makes absolutely no fucking sense.

Does a 1 loss B1G team get in the CFP over an undefeated AAC team? What about a 2 loss B1G team?

Not with that Indiana loss.

>ND will peak at #16 because all their future opponents will outrank them after the bye week
there, are you faggots happy now? Close enough to a top 15 team, but without being overhyped because your easy schedule is over

For the AAC to send a team to the playoff, they would have to go undefeated for two years straight.

yes, a one loss big ten team gets in
especially if it's:
>penn state (with their only loss being michigan or ohio state)
or
>ohio state (their only loss being oklahoma)

The AAC wouldn’t go in over any 1 loss P5 team. They’d need a minimum of 2 losses for an undefeated AAC team to have an argument, and even then, it would depend on a lot of things.

Well speaking theoretically here, Ohio State could win out the rest of their schedule and still win the B1G, which would mean beating Michigan, Michigan St., Penn State, and probably Wisconsin in the Championship (I have no clue who tf is gonna win the B1G West). That's a pretty damn good resume to be bringing to the CFP.

G-Guys, what if...

1. Auburn (12-1)
2. Miami (12-1)
3. Washington (13-0)
4. Navy (13-0)

Assuming

-B1G Champion Penn State (11-2)
-Bama loses to Auburn and Georgia
-Auburn beats Georgia and beats them again in the SECCG
-Clemson Clemsons and enters the ACCCG with one loss, then loses to Miami
-Notre Dame fucking dominates except losses to Miami and Navy

A lot of ifs but its fun to think about.

Oh well, at least we'll make a bowl game

I would give priority to a 2 loss Big 12 team before a 1 loss B1G team.

>tfw your meme squad's performance made one voter switch their number 1 to Clemson

It hurts user, it hurts

I really did thought your team was going to pull it
That safety probably hurt more than helped

>michigan ahead of michigan state

>sec fans criticizing ANYONE's ooc scheduling
>ever

HOLY SHIT MY SIDES THE IRONY IS KILLING ME

hello

is it me you're looking for?

That's because you're stupid.

Navy is the one AAC team that might have an argument if they win out mainly because of the Notre Dame game. Looking at their schedule, they’d have a quality case:

>Notre Dame, UCF, USF, Memphis, Houston, SMU

If all these teams can avoid losses except to each other and Navy, that’s a decent slate.

Of course, it’s not gonna happen because Navy is mediocre and only 5-0 because they’ve played total scrubs.

Go Gamecocks!

Stanford was #30/31, they beat #18/20 Utah, and now Stanford is #23/25 and Utah is #23/29

Gotta keep Utah ranked one more week because they play USC this week and no one else in the Pac12 South is any good

>3 Georgia
>8 Washington State
>9 Ohio State higher than 12 Oklahoma
>5-1 Auburn at 10
>notre dame ranked
>undefeated U in 11
> Michigan higher than Sparty
>2 loss Stanford higher than undefeated navy

What did I miss

>the 1st place team in the Big 12 is unranked

Be prepared:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Wisconsin
4. TCU

I'll take it.

Then get rid of Dave Warner

>Bama drops to number 4
>both meet in the natty
>eternal salt

best timeline

LSU has a better TV schedule listing. Shows everything.

lsufootball.net/tvschedule.htm

If OSU can get in last season I'd say it's likely, depends on what happens with Clempson/B1G Champ/Wershington/Booty Blasters though.

>demote Warner back to QBs
>hire a legit million dollar OC

It'll never happen but I can dream. Warner has been good in the 1st half of the last two games though. 2nd half vs Iowa was fireable by itself, tough to judge yesterday because of the weather.

That's a fun field desu.

great site and thanks for the link but that's not LSU, that's just an LSU fan's personal site. From the main page:
www.lsufootball.net is not affiliated in any way with Louisiana State University or any other organization.

>iwn have my head between some rain-soaked cheerleader thighs in michigan stadium as msu booty blasts um yet again

Saban has always had good white pro-style QBs before the last three years: Blake Sims (2014), Jake Coker (2015), Jalen Hurts (2016-now)
John Parker Wilson, made the NFL
Greg McElroy, 7th Round, 2011
AJ McCarron, 5th Round, 2014

Jimbo was doing great with QBs until he lost his starter this year to injury vs Bama. JaMarcus Russell at LSU was #1 overall, then at FSU he had:
Jameis Winston -- #1 overall, 2015
EJ Manuel -- #16 overall, 1stR, 2013
Christian Ponder -- #12 overall, 1stR, 2011

JF issue is a bad O-line. Been that way for 4 years now.

why in the fuck didnt they just send out 11 men without a quarterback, there is no fucking rule that says you have to have a quarterback on the roster on the field with the offense

that is stupid as fucking shit

undefeated UCF gets in over 2 loss Big Ten team.

Doubt it. It'll come down to TV revenues as to who would get in. The committee will go with money, not the best teams.

Nope. Undefeated UCF easily gets in ovet any two loss team, blueblood or not. Problem is you're going to have at four 1-loss teams from Power 5 conferences and they'll get in over UCF
