I just finished listening to 808s for the first time and Im surprised by how bold Kanye was with this album.
Cold, innovative and dettached, thats how I felt, some tracks felt like they had some happy moments but the whole way through it felt like I was walking around with snow by my knee.
Im not sure what to think of it, as of now I rate his albums like this:
LR =/> (depending on my mood) CD > Graduation > 808s
I think that 808s needs some time to really take in.
