Not even his debut

It's good. However, they're one of the rare bands that didn't blow their creative load on the first album. They got better over the next two records. Mostly because they weren't punk and were master producers who could craft a lush arrangement as well as any producer in their prime, so punk minimalism sold their talents short.

Literally anything

Outlandos d'Amour [A&M, 1978]

Tuneful, straight-ahead rock and roll is my favorite form of mindlessness, and almost all of these songs--riffs-with-lyrics, really--make the cretin in me hop. But only "Can't Stand Losing You" makes him jump up and down. And the "satiric" soliloquy to an inflatable bedmate makes him push reject. B+

Typical Cuckgau review.

>spends the whole review shitting on the album
>still gives it a B plus because he likes the genre

would really laugh if that was you

Cheap Trick is THE most underrated rock band of all time. They should be remembered as The Beatles of the punk era.
