Your company will always prefer them over you because they are cheaper. If you visit Sup Forums you find so many cases of whites programmers out of jobs because Indians flooded their office.

I've been in IT for 3 years now and have only encountered one arrogant prick. On the other hand 90% of the engineers I have ever met are cocky little fuckers.

this, when the middle management weenie asks if something will work and an engineer stares back in belief, it's not meant to be insulting, it's more that the engineer is simply unable to comprehend how anyone can ask what they perceive to be such a moronic question. the arrogance is more in the form of "look, i understand it, it's simple, why don't you?", the idea that someone may genuinely not be able to fully understand a concept doesn't cross their mind.
