WELL REGULATED MILITIA

INFRINGED

INFRINGED

You fucking idiot.

((INFRINGED))

if there was somewhere to have a Boating Accident, this is it.

NOT

why?

it was infringed

We don't really have much violence here anyways. It's mainly Polynesians and Flips stealing stuff and stabbing each other.

Because you same-fagged your own post.

You suck at this. Go back to Plebbit.

nigga, do you see the IDs above our posts?

you can't samefag if it's fucking obvious

COMMA

In Hawaii it's damn near impossible to buy a gun. You can thank the Democrat machine that's been entrenched there since statehood.

Waianae brah! Leeward Reppin!

Oh man, this effects all 300 people who are able to afford the fees to comply with the regulations Hawaii has to own firearms.

...

Is this a step forward or backward? We're still unable to get CC or OC permits until they finish appealing the 13th circuit court decision, wish they had been forced to repeal that shit until the appeal actually fucking succeeded.

This nigga talking about IDs. Fucking kek

Is is going to be ruled unconstitutional

LMAO

Does Hawaii even have a gun violence problem?

The next mass shooting should really happen in Hawaii

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with individual states enacting tighter regulatory control on the sale/ownership of firearms. That doesn't mean banned, but there is nothing in the Constitution that says "Hawaii/New York/California cannot have a database."

Nationally, however, it is pointless and a bad precedent. But that is why the States and Federal Government share power.

Why do people treat Federalism like its so complicated?

We don't really have a gun violence problem because we have very few guns. We do have a violence problem because we have some pretty bad drug problems in some cities and in those areas there's heavy racial tension between those who are and aren't white.

You would have been right 155 years ago before the 14th Amendment incorporated the 2nd Amendment against the states.

>between those who are and aren't white.

Really?

Even now, after we've made their land like a trillion times more valuable, they still don't like us?

We had a shooting back in 99 when 8 people died at a Xerox store. But we also have no blacks, no mexicans, and no muslims so that really just leaves us with some methheads and homeless.
We're the damn homeless capital of the nation since vagrancy laws are considered 'oppresive'.

it's their Chinese ancestry

California is next

Whites are the general minority compared to the Japanese. Although all the locals who would really hate you for it live in shithole neighborhoods no one likes.
Our universities are filled with actual Chinese Communist Party spies funny enough.

Island Niggers, what are you going to do

To me Hawaii doesn't really feel like an American state, I often forget it even exists.

More than California? Damn. Are they aggressive?

No, but they're nearly all fucked up and mental. The ones that aren't just use welfare and camp out on the beach in their trucks and tents.

Honestly this. Alaska is more of a state than them. As much as I understand that this sets a precedent if another states wants to do something like this, I don't even give a fuck. The only thing that exists in Hawaii are chink rape babies and Dog the Bounty Hunter

And what are they going to do with that database of gun owners? Every gun control law is merely a stepping stone to stricter gun control. There is no compromise with gun grabbers. They will harrass and confiscate guns from them the moment they know they can get away with it.

True, but if we are viewing it on a basis of McDonald v. Chicago, then what they were doing was far excessive and established an effective ban.

I'm saying there's no issue with States enacting some other tighter forms of regulation, as long as they do not ban. There is no reason there cannot be a New York firearm registry, etc etc.

Besides, there is a lot of murky legal ground with Privileges or Immunities, mostly because the Supreme Court doesn't want to really touch it.

Gun Registration literally affects and can only target law abiding people thanks to Haynes v United States saying a prohibited person registering a gun would be self incrimination and thus a law requiring it is Unconstitutional.

Quite possibly nothing since most gun owners in Hawaii are police, military, or retired.

This is good except "to keep and bear" might appraise differently compared to "to keep and to bear arms".

"Bear arms" means to carry weapons in case of confrontation, and there are shitload of examples from 18th century english usage. But liberals deliberately confuse it with "bear arms against" to support a militia service meaning, this infodoc doesn't address that.

Also the single most important phrase is "right of the people" if you want to make it crystal clear that 2A is an individual right. It's totally omitted.

You mean a gun license? This not new, Illinois and New Jersey have had it for decades.

Its not like they are taking away the guns. They arent telling you that no guns are allowed. There is nothing in the second amendment that says "shall not be put on list"

That's the joke

INFRINGED

How do they even know who the gun owners are?

that only applies to handguns, hun

Gun licenses aren't unconstitutional lol not anymore than a driver's license is

No. Im pretty sure you need a FOID for anything that goes boom in Illinois.

Our retarded mandatory gun registration where we have to report to the police.

There's nothing wrong with this. Such statutes were on the books at the time of the founding because they wanted every fighting age male to own a standard rifle. They actually routinely inspected people at their homes to ensure they had a weapon.

You fucking howly

>Get back ground check
>1 - 2 day waiting period

And how do you guys think you're name isn't already in a database?

I'm ambiguously brown so I pass

IN THE DATABASE DATABASE

states can license gunowners as long as its "shall issue".

>Not building your own gun

Kek

SEARIDERSSS!

never thought Id see those words on this board.

>very few guns

do you live in hawaii kai or some shit?

North shore.
Yea, it's mostly a lot of belly aching over the annexation and some of the shitty things that were done to them.

holy fucknuts have you ever gone hunting?
My uncle has a full-retard a1. I know lots of other people with some crazy shit

Except now they would be used to monitor the people who own a standard rifle to ensure they don't have 'incorrect thinking', and if they do, they get labeled mentally deficient and their arms are taken from them.

No. Hawaii already requires a permit and registration when buying a gun. This new thing is entering those registered gun owners into a federal(FBI) database to keep track of their status. If they are arrested anywhere in the US for anything that would disqualify them from firearms ownership then the state will be automatically notified and most likely take them.

There's a big overlap. Many of my fellow milfags got into trouble for trying to bring an entire armory worth of gear.

>edge: the post

ns is pretty hippy so I guess

Oh my fucking god is it. Not like we don't have guns, quite a few hunters. But gun ownership in hawaii is pretty small among the...what, million people on Oahu?

>edge: the post

Nothing I said was incorrect.

Roughly half the people I know are gun owners, half of that is mil/leo. The hunters are usually the ones with huge as fuck collections of guns.

Use to live in Saltlake, well, in Taylors. freaking loved it, despite it being like the land time forgot.

oh shit! what a shame, i lost all my guns in a boating accident a week ago

the problem is that they are treating gun owners like criminals, before they even comment a crime...

Half? How many people do you know? Maybe I'm just out of touch as an anti-social fuck, but even amongst the lot I know only a handful had guns and most were military.

>This new thing is entering those registered gun owners into a federal(FBI) database to keep track of their status.
So its literally a state sharing police resources with the feds. I don't see a problem. Every gun bought from an FFL also requires a form 4473.

>If they are arrested anywhere in the US for anything that would disqualify them from firearms ownership

That's not constitutional and denies due process. You can only lose your gun if you are convicted of a felony or misdemeanor domestic abuse.

Lol y'all fucked up

The north

The fuck is there to hunt in Hawaii?
The local browns?
