>The long-term effects of sustained psychedelic use on the brain are largely unknown, but research published last year found structural changes among people who were regular users of ayahuasca. The study used MRI to scan the brains of 22 people who had consumed it at least 50 times in the previous two years. It found an inverse correlation between the thickness of the posterior cingulate cortex, which is a key hub of the default mode network, and the intensity and duration of ayahuasca use. In other words, this part of the brain was thinner in heavier users. Conversely, an adjacent brain region involved in attention and emotion regulation called the anterior cingulate cortex, which suppresses activity in the default mode network, was thicker.

How much longer must we endure this dysfunctional world before the medical Jews allow us access to the literal red pill and final solution for /r9k/?

Mate, I did acid and mescaline weekly for six months. I pushed my dose to 1000mg and repeatedly watched my friend die, lost sense of self and now when I'm sober the floors and walls still move. Overall it's not worth it. Once you see behind the curtain, you'll wish you never did.

what country can i visit if i just wanted to trip balls just one time legally?

i did acid (2+ tabs) once a week for 4 months, and then continued using it sporadically. Ive done psychs over 50 times.

I've been taking acid once a month for the last 3 years. I'm happier, healthier, and more sexually active. I'm not sure what it did to you, but I feel liberated, especially after watching the holy mountain while on acid. Maybe it all depends on the user. I should also note that I've never took mescaline though.

Your dumbass fault for abusing them kappa. I did lsd weekly for 5 months and quit because it gave me depersonalization but it's weened off now. Abusing anything isnt good for you, respect them.

Don't get me wrong, I understand myself more and I learnt a lot, but (as edgy and pretentious this sounds) it just shows the falseness in the world and society, you can only laugh at it for so long before when you go along with reality, it feels dumb.

Smoked weed heavily for 6 months, now totally sober. I was worried I made myself stupid permanently but after the THC left my system everything was back to normal. I can definitely say I can remain more passionate about stuff than before. I would get high and watch historical documentarues, so my brain is so much better at thinking in historical terms than before, might be just regular learning or it might be weed helping to strengthen neural pathways. Either way I like myself more on weed. Fixed my anxiety and depression right quick, made me stop feeling like I wanted to kill myself constantly.

I am a firm believer in the "soma holiday": take a month or two off to get fucked up on psychedelics and work through personal shit. Then come back to regular life without drugs.

Been smoking weed daily for 20 years since I was 14, can't imagine life sober

It also helped me get rid of my opiate addiction
