This is a very materialistic vision of "success." To me "making it" as a musician means you became a legacy who was discussed for decades after your death, inspired countless other artists, etc. It's not about making money or having "a lot of 'views' and Im palying at Lollapalozoza LOL!" If the primary reason you make music is to be popular and make money, you just suck.
