"And IiiiIIiii'lll find strength in pain, and IIIiiiII will change my ways"
>damn yo this shit bangs

>true emotion
if you mean "i'm angry at my parents for cleaning my room" sure why not.

dont post great music in shit threads

Metal is just a part of nerd culture. You need to dedicate extra time to "get it". Inaudible lyrics and faggots who practiced linear guitar music in thier bedrooms. No substance. Notice how long hair and all things metal (collecting action figures and t shirts) is pure fagotry. Real heavy music is biker shit. Thats what metal was. Bikers and military folk drinking away thier classlessness. The fact that you try to intellectualize it is an oxymoron. A dead genre.

Metal is beyond from being dead.

Not sure if troll or retarded

>collecting action figures and t shirts

lol wut

>this is what non-metalfags think this what metal is about
sad! metal has real emotion in it, too bad that for listening to much of you hip-hop and indie shit you don't know what real emotion is

>tfw got to see Randy Blythe fill in for Mike with Eyehategod

sucks that it was because Mike was in the hospital, but fuck if he wasn't perfect for it.

Suns of Mumfurd or sumtheeng.
That looks like a dude who would kill a stage diver ahahah

This, absolutely.
Name me one thing associated with metal that isn't cringe worthy soy shit.
I'll wait.

I met Randy as a moped rally years back. Nice guy. I used to be into burn the priest as a kid.

>everything i dont like is soy says man posting on Sup Forums at 9 in the morning on a friday

heh he consumes the legume ;9

am i the only one who likes metal but hates its aesthetic? the way metalheads dress always makes me cringe

>soy

A pioneer of the cuck genre, however. Kudos.

Black Sabbath

Lamb of God sucks, but Burn the Priest is awesome, and Randy Blythe is a good guy.

even though i don't like the word "cringey", this

>haha dood we so sleazy leik them neiggers innit

Earth - Earth 2

he's metalcore, not metal

Attached: MeadsOfAsphodel.jpg (576x383, 222K)

Growing up, I thought metal was lame, and punk was real and authentic.

What I didn't realize, was that when you go deep enough into one, you wind up on the other side.

My trajectory:
pop punk > garage punk > no wave > deathrock > post-hardcore > emocore > youth crew > crust punk > grindcore > neocrust > blackened crust > black metal > deathgrind > drone metal . . . and so on.

The hindrance is that while I am a metalhead, when metalheads talk, they always bring up their childhoods, being into cheesy, poppy metal bands. I never went through that phase, because as a kid I had a cheesy, poppy punk phase instead.

Not even considering the fact that "cringey" is the worst mispelling ever

you heard they're making a covers album under the burn the priest name again? tracklist got released today
Inherit The Earth (originally performed by The Accused)
Honey Bucket (originally performed by Melvins)
Kerosene (originally performed by Big Black)
Kill Yourself (originally performed by S.O.D.)
I Against I (originally performed by Bad Brains)
Axis Rot (originally performed by Sliang Laos)
Jesus Built My Hotrod (originally performed by Ministry)
One Voice (originally performed by Agnostic Front)
Dine Alone (originally performed by Quicksand)
We Gotta Know (originally performed by Cro-Mags)
In The Meantime (originally performed by Helmet) on vinyl only

Sure zombie metal. As long as there is money to be made. Id argue its bigger than ever, the spirit is dead. Again it was angry biker, military music originally. A reaction to hippy culture.
Metal is all image. Mascots and tshirt desigs overshadow the music. Motorhead were copying biker culture with thier imagery. Post motor head is people copying motorhead. Its an inauthentic loop and its all marketing. Also kinda gay making your logo as hard to read as possible. Again a fabricated "in culture" total faggots. Give me Igor Stravinsky. 10 times more brutal than this fake nerd music.

>sad! metal has real emotion in it, too bad that for listening to much of you hip-hop and indie shit you don't know what real emotion is
holy fuck

Motorhead WERE bikers you newfag, and they never considered themselves meal

soy is pretty soy tbqhfamalamadingdong

The fact that you failed to find anything decent or noteworthy doesn't mean you can make such categorical judgements about the subject. Indeed, many a metal group resemble your description, but the same is true for all other scenes, it's their nature, since it is often the nature of any popular culture medium - and so you repeat truisms, never managing to get to the marrow of the matter.

Doom Metal is this but openly.
