also not music but music related, most newfags already know Fantano/Deep Cuts/DeadEndHipHop and youtube channels like that but watching the youtube channel Shallow Rewards will help you learn a lot about music and music history as far as late 90s/early 2000s is concerned. He's some dude that used to work at Pitchfork, one of their best writers, very knowledgeable and opinionated. His Spotify playlists are sure to yield some gems for you to get into too.

Check out Dusk at Cubist Castle by the olivia Tremor Control
you seem sorta plebbly tho. I like that you like thee oh sees. Check out The almighty defenders for some awesome jammin
you manage to have several really good albums, (kishi bashi, fleet foxes, vampire weekend, ween, the xx, oliva tremor control) that are plebbish but the rest is just like Sup Forums or pleb. You can't unironically think madeons adventure was a good album. Worlds was way better and thats not even worthy of being on a chart unless its just sea of voices. Just notice you have in ghost colours as well which is a fuckign classic.
Haven't listened to worlds (been on the backlog forever). But while I wouldn't call Adventure innovative or anything it's still really enjoyable. What can I say man, I love to dance, & it's at least an above average EDM album (though I think more).
Ngl the "bonus" tracks are some of the best ones on it.
once you listen to worlds you'll see what I mean.
being an above average EDM album is a really low bar given the quality of music in the genre and it's subgenres.
Worlds was several heads above the next best album in the genre and I think the only thing that might come close anytime soon is the album mitis just dropped but I haven't listened to it yet
The snowbringer cult
I follow you on EDM being generally shitty, but I have a big soft spot for the genre. I like even the most generic EDM bangers, and even festival shit you've heard many times before can get me moving.
I attribute this to listening to a lot of Trance growing up. Made me really appreciate EDM, even if it's objectively dumb a lot of the time.
