I love shoegaze a lot but none of the Sup Forumscore nu-gaze albums (Deathconsciousness, V:D:C, C&C, Texas-Jerusalem, Sunbather) really appeal to me. I would say V:D:C is the best out of all of them I suppose.

I understand why someone wouldn't like the production and mixing, but what makes the harmonies phoned in?

The vocal melodies are easily the worst part, but after googling the lyrics, we have some competition.

Take away all the effects and reverb, and you're left with composition that sounds like it was simply improvised on the spot. His voice sounds like shit, like Brand New or some garbage. And the fucking SNARE OH MY GOD. The worst percussion, maybe ever. It's grating. My god. This is just b-tards proving they can make a nobody a somewhatbody.

Just admit you don't get the album. Just because an artist does something purposefully doesn't mean they don't know how to do certain things.
