I have no idea who that is
that iommi one is good
the album it's the cover for sucks, but he's still the best guitarist.
No, I dont want to feel like a walking fridge.
No, but I've honestly considered making one. I'd include Amebix, Fall of Efrafa, Wovenhand, Celtic Frost, Behemoth, Days N Daze, Martyrdöd, and Godflesh.
Sticking patches on hoodies is the punk thing to do.
Tank is a great band, and Dio and Halloween are fun, but having a NWOBHM jacket seems kind of lame.
There's a kid in my hometown, who a year or so ago always wore a glam metal battle jacket, with pretty much every 80s hair metal act you can think of on it. He wore a bandana and 70s cop glasses too. His naivety and innocence were kind of charming.
Shortly after I left town, though, he changed styles, and got into early 90s g-funk and gangsta rap like Snoop Dogg. He started wearing huge red shirts, and kept the bandana, like he thought he was a blood. This was all strange but entertaining, given that he's a doughy, slightly overweight blond kid.
It originated with the crust and anarcho-punk scenes, but thrash metal adopted it in the 80s, and ever since then it's been a metal thing too. The guys in Metallica even have battle jackets.
I posted the faux leather one, and I get a fair amount of what I posted are classic bands, but when it just comes to stitching on the 20 most popular bands of all time it seems a bit unoriginal
I've wanted to make a punk jacket but have nothing but kpop logos on it. I want to make the most anti-punk punk jacket.
sounds very twee
been done
haha wow, dude. it would be sooo subversive and cool. yea!
>Running Wild
>Jag Panzer
>Adramelch
>Witch Cross
>Cirith Ungol
>Raven
Great taste my dude
mate i just assume that anyone who wears these jackets are actively trying to avoid ever having sex
I'm pretty sure that people who wear these have, in general, more chance of ever having sex than people who listen to Loveless and ITAOTS
What's the band between Bolzer and Mayhem?
Vassafor
>he doesn't fuck art hoes
best blowjobs in the land
thanks
FWIW Obsidian Codex is my favourite metal album of the 2010s.
Yeah I remember hearing it some times ago, just didn't remember what their logo looked like
Some tracks felt a bit too long imo
IDK man, like I really like mine, but time you've bought a nice jacket and all the patches you wanted you've spent a couple hundred.
Only do it if you're going to put some interesting bands on there, nothing more cringy than someone just putting the five most famous bands in each subgenre on a jacket, it looks like you've been into the genre for five minutes. Seen so many that just look like:
>darkthrone, mayhem, burzum, immortal, gorgoroth
>iron maiden, motorhead, judas priest, black sabbath
>cannibal corpse, deicide, morbid angel, death, obituary
>gay shit like arch enemy, amon amarth, alestorm, gojira, ghost, black label society
>megadeth, metallica, slayer, anthrax, kreator
Also try and do what I did and buy the patches and do it in one go rather than as you go along you can get the colour scheme and placing looking a little better
The virgin jacket
Oh yeah totally, it's a challenging listen. Sometimes it's hard to play complete attention for a full hundred minutes, but sometimes can listen to it and be awed all the way through. Needs a vinyl reissue, only got it on tape
Should I make a battle jacket?
I'd include these bands.
of course not, british punk fashion is consumerist trash.
hardcore had no real look.
Thanks for your input!
And sorry for deleting - I wanted to edit/expand the image
>consumerist trash
listen to yourself
Wow, those jackets must've had a lot of holes in them.
absolutely not
pfft
I think I may cut out TA, because I'll get too much shit for that.
destruction, sodom, bathory, discharge, danzig, razor, inepsy, bulldozer, sabbat, gehennah, deathhammer, sacrilege, omega, abigail, whipstriker, slayer, venom
fixed
I had in mind something more like pic related but all the logos are kpop groups.
You're not hardcore enough until you've put patches in your pants
The other day I saw a guy with a punk jacket with 1 patch: Godsmack.
I kinda wish I'd taken a picture
The guy who made that jacket's taste is both legit and terrible
>queen
based
My favorite rock band. It was a gift.
shit these are great. really like that sunn back piece!
Thanks. Probably my favourite patch along with the animal liberation one and the Tetragrammacide one on the pic you didn't quote but I think that's just cause I listen to Tetragrammacide more than any one else recently
still, no.
Myke C Town doesn't listen to war metal, only atmoshit
Awful taste in punk dude
Haha epic!!!
>I want to make the most anti-punk punk jacket.
You already posted it.
