What is the best trilogy?

What is the best trilogy?

>star shit better than LOTR

this triggers me every time

All LOTR is too low, JP1 too low

if we have to look at it as a whole, i'd say LOTR because the three were great

They are both equally good, my friend

Trois Coleurs or Antonioni's Trilogy

the general trends in that image are correct but the details are pure shit.

A simple ranking of best to worst of all movies would be less controversial

kys nerd

Hp 1-3 or HP 6-8

They are both equally overrated garbage.

>Star wars:ROtJ should be higher
>Indiana Jones ATLC should be much higher than TOD which should be much lower
>jurassic park 2 and 3 should be higher
>spiderman1 should be higher
>x-men2 should be lower
>back to the future 2 should be a bit higher
>matrix1 should be lower
terrible list in general really

whoops couleurs*

>list of trilogy's
>no godfather

>Attack of the Clones
>Best out of the three
D R O P P E D

>In addition to receiving the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and National Board of Review Award for Best Cast, many of the actors were also recognized for their individual work, including McKellen (12 nominations), Serkis (10 nominations), Astin (9 nominations), and Mortensen (5 nominations). Composer Howard Shore received recognition for his original score, as he was the recipient of two Academy Awards, two BAFTA nominations, and three Grammy Awards in addition to a number of other awards. The series also received accolades in various technical categories, including those in editing, sound mixing, and visual effects. Walsh, Boyens, and Jackson's screenwriting earned them 10 awards out of 23 total nominations, including the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay (for The Return of the King). In total, the series received 475 awards out of 800 nominations, thus making the films the most awarded film series in cinematic history.

Yes, Indiana Jones, Star wars, Matrix 1, Mad Max and Back to the Future are all on the same level as lotr

xD
triggered actually

1-3 the rest sucked, the first two are the best ones

This

that's because they're shit

Star Wars is way more overrated than Lord of the Rings

Both film franchises are shit but at least the source material for LotR isn't complete garbage whereas Lucas just ripped off shitty samurai movies and le ebin heroez journey

>Godfather
>9
>10
>-10

What's the point?

Before Sunrise trilogy

>winning awards means it's a good film
Guess the Artist and Gravity are both contemporary classics eh?
Much better than shit like 2001

I think the meters are supposed to show relativity between the three entries and not total quality

>Temple of Doom higher than Last Crusade

that shit was unwatchable between the screaming female and the chinese rugrat.

>star wars episode 2

Every rating for Star Wars is wrong dubs confirm.

I think you have poor vision.

Trois Couleours probably
The Naked Gun

These dubs tho

>people seriously think that memediana jones, Back to the memes and meme wars are better than Jurassic park.

If those movies came out today they'd be shat on left and right.

>Star Wars
I'm okay with the ratio but its overall ranked a little too high.
>Indy
The Last Crusade should be higher. Also ranked a bit high
>Matrix
Le sequels are bad meme
>Jurassic Park
Lost World should be a bit closer the first and all three should get bumped up more
>Xmen
Switch 1 and 2 and we're good
>Spiderman
1 and 2 should even out a bit more
>LOTR
All three should get a soft bump up
>Mad Max
1 should be a bit higher and 3 should be a lot lower. Why the fuck is 3 higher than 1?
>Jaws
No problem here
>Back to the Future
2 should get a little bump

But really, why is this shitty list still getting passed around

If you disagree I'll hammerfist your head

>no alien movies

9/10
9/10
6/10

Watch it

10/10
8/10
8/10

Sorry you have bad taste.

That is clearly not the case, since then at least one of the bars would be totally blue for every film.

Unironically this. All kino.

>Into Darkness and Beyond both better than the first Star Trek

Toy Story is the most consistent trilogy in terms of quality

You're trolling right?

ITT: reddit
You're Ready Player One readers tier posters.

That feeling when you watched Star Trek in original run, watched the movies as they came out, and realize that by "Star Trek Trilogy" someone actually means the reboot.

THIS MAN KNOWS

>ill shoehorn the word "meme" everywhere to appear smugly correct

JP2 and JP3 do not hold up AT ALL.
Im not saying Indy trilogy is some unassailable series but shit my dude, have you watched those Jurassic park movies recently? they're BAD

Fixed

Out of those I'd say Indiana Jones. All three movies are great.

Personally I'd say Aliens trilogy. Every movie is unique and has a different tone while still being high class (yes i liked 3) and connecting the movies nicely together. Every director made it his own movie, unlike many sequels where it's just more or less reshooting the same movie.

Indianna Jones.

3 movies, all good watches.

Every other trilogy is heavily flawed in one way or another

I never mentioned 2 or 3, Jurassic park is better than anything Lucas ever touched and is far better than sweaty jew fights nazis and finds hidden treasures.

Back to the future is average as fuck, the sequels are as unwatchable as most dreck that gets shat out today.

>Still no sticky
Though I agree. Every Spencer&Hill movies are highest culture

>space wars better than LOTR
>Thunderdome better than Max Max
>the Lost World that low
>Star Trek that high in general

I am beyond mad

I'll never understand LOTR.

Boring as shit outside of FOTR not to mention the hack writing.

Star wars is a hack job as well but at least people don't go around proclaiming it as anything more than mindless fun

>LOTR films are all equal in quality
Fellowship>Two Towers>RotK

Ip Man

>Godfather Trilogy
>not 10, 10 and 10

it's not even fair

Go to bed great-grandpa

Back to the future is so overrated

So it LOTR but its ok

Xmen is trash all of it.

Objectively the best film trilogy is Antonioni's Malaise trilogy.

agree

>implying Star Wars Ep. 2 was better than Star Wars Ep. 3

I was really wondering as well. I mean, TWOK, TSFS and TVH do indeed form a trilogy, but looking at that I thought: Wait – Who in their right minds would think that TSFS was better than TMP and only SLIGHTLY worse than TWOK?

Yup

where's his penor?

Alien: 8/10
Aliens: 3/10
Alien 3: 6/10

star wars 3 should be much lower, not just a bit; LOTR 1 is better than the other 2

>no Dollars
>no Once Upon A Time
>no Human Condition

You're missing out on some of the best trilogies.
