some of my comments:
thoroughly enjoyed, expected the vocal refrain in purple cashmere to be a bit deeper and 'trappy' otherwise i'm really digging it
nice playing, cool colors too
you guys seem really fun to see live, and sound exactly like the picture looks, nice stuff.

pretty fun, I like the sound of the recordings too, appropriately lo-fi. I don't really like the vocals though
Seems like if you put more effort into some of these songs you'd have some good shit on your hands. Cool ideas

I like it.
Drum tone is good, I think the snare could stand to be a little quieter and dryer.

Thanks ma! I really like the textures you're using in your album
Cheers, I try the best with what I got hoping to upgrade to some better gear soon.
thanks man! i dig your shit too, very loud and hectic, strange instrumentation in the best way possible, loved gemini eyes, especially the drum track. good rec right here.
thanks! you mean the colors of the cover or are you describing sounds?
checked out some of your stuff, and i think it's got really great potential! I think you just have to put some more time in the mix. I suggest panning your instruments to different spots on the stereo-scape because the sounds tend to get muddled within one another. Something else to fix this is definitely go over the levels of the mix too, don't be afraid to be louder. pick the intrument that you want to be the focus of your song and go from there. i really urge that you don't overlook this stage because the mix can be extremely important to capture the vibe of what you're going for, even if it's supposed to be lo-fi, and minimally mixed. i found that the vocals were really drowned out by the instrumentation, and since it's very lyric heavy it can lose some of it's meaning and value.
otherwise i really do like it, it tugs on my sadboi dickstrings.
thanks for the input! i definitely have a duality between a striking snare and a quieter one, i can never reach a good balance. thank for listening and enjoying!
Cheers for the mad feedback! Been working on a few new tracks trying to get better at mixing and what not. I'll try what you said and really make something the centerpiece and see how I go! Again, Heaps of thanks!
Really dig your stuff too. Great work man, fuckin bangers.
no problem man, a tight, helpful community is important. i really think everyone's got the chance to better their stuff and be able to put on tape exactly what you hear in your head, and be the best you can be.
also one last thing that i forgot to mention is to eq! i noticed that all the bass parts were lost in the top end and there wasn't a whole lot of lower end in there! in my opinion a bass part is just as important as an intricate lead or rhythm, it creates the groundwork on which your song varies and strays from to create interesting coloring throughout the song.
keep doing what you're doing and i'll be sure to check back when you got new stuff! maybe hit me up whenever you release some shit or when you're finished with something new and before you post it so i can take a look at it and give my thoughts on it if you want! hit me up on the contact me thing on BC
Cheers man. This feedback really got me excited to progress again. Haven't posted on here in a while but it's always so good to come in and share and get good feedback from people like you, really keeps these threads alive.

ridiculous and loud, the bit at the 12 minute mark was fun
also titleterack might be the worst thing I've ever listened to so props to you for that
This shit is so comfy uwu
Really love the description February is over is great. What synth do you use? Reminds me a lot of Cuco and other such heartthrob synth teens who make music for girls in LA, so keep it up.
The Hit Me Baby cover had me dying, the Pink Floyd and King Crimson covers were cool. I definitely appeal more to your original work though. Check out my cover of Blue Monday if you get the chance!
You definitely have to bring the vocals up in the mix. You don't have a horrible voice, and with the reverb and chorusy guitars it all sounds really nice. With a bit more polish I think you'd have some catchy tunes, I understand you're going for a Mac Demarco-esque lo-fi feel but the mix is suffering due to it. Not sure about the rap part in Moonlight Undercut either, but to each his own. I think if you're going for the Gothboiclique audience you've hit the mark.
This shit is amazing, the sonic textures are fantastic and the guitar and vocals sound so warm. Excellent work.
This is great. Even though its all the rage right now I'm a sucker for shimmery groovy guitars and you hit the nail on the head with catchy licks. Reminds me of Steve Lacy a lot.
I put out this EP a little while ago, it's the first collection of songs I've ever recorded so any feedback and criticism would be greatly appreciated.
>Techno, house, dance, mexican influenced, and a New Order cover for good measure
I just bought a Korg MS-20, an 8 channel mixer, and a Kaoss pad for reverb/delay so the new stuff that I'll be putting out soon will be loads better hopefully.

decent
nice, but making covers is so lame at least for me
nice
Covers guy here. I totally feel you on them being lame. I'm just in the process of compiling all my unreleased stuff from the past decade into somewhat cohesive albums. These were all the covers I did in that time,I just kinda slapped them together. 6 cover songs in 7 years isn't too lame.
I'm gonna check out some of your stuff now. I think I've listened to some of it before, your description sounds familiar.

feedbacc:
production on the voice works but the performance itself on the lower parts could be better. Drums could sound less dilla/warm drum machine given how cold the subjects are. The discordant piano at the beginning is v nice, and the atmospheres are soothing and, at times, seething. Piano main parts are mostly dabbling around a warmer sound, close to major, I'd suggest more trebley production, maybe like a synth organ, on them & transpose some stuff into minor where required.
2nd track really works, incredibly atmospheric, whilst glitchy and tense.
a lot of post-punk influence in this, with the jagged and tense little explosions, and the atmospheric darkwave synth. It's well put together, but definitely missing some personality. That meaning, I can hear your influences, I can't hear you.

stuff and things
This is great senpai, keep it up. I love the lush production style, its lofi tracks with a hifi mix.I also love the progressions and samples you use, good stuff.
Very promising stuff my man. I like your voice and the way you've mixed the acoustic, as well as the natural ambiance thats sneaks its way into certain points of the album. I found the vocal mix to be a touch bottom heavy, but other than that keep experimenting with your guitar and try to explore different ways to start your songs; as most of them sound like the same song is starting but at a different place on the guitar neck. anyway, keep it up brother, I like where this is going.
I've been making stuff like this for my fine arts practice, what kind of gear do you use to make tracks like this?
I wish there was more stuff like this in these threads. Proper diversity, throughout the album (so far, still listening as i type this) nice production, I love the jazz influences, and yeah. I'm downloading this. Cool man.

I appreciate that a lot man, I'm glad the post-punk influence came through strong. It's gonna be difficult crafting my own sound and making my personality shine through but I think in subsequent projects I'll be able to accomplish that.
Your music is fantastic, it reminds me a lot of Xiu Xiu plays the music of Twin Peaks and Lil Ugly Mane's Third side of tape stuff. Definitely gives me a dark atmospheric and spooky vibe. Tess Dawson - Observant is probably my favorite track
Thoroughly enjoying this, Chili Dogs is such a good track
I released my first EP over the weekend.
