> Dear Mr. Rees-Mogg MP,
> I am writing to urge you to consider announcing your candidacy for the Conservative Party leadership following the resignation of the Prime Minister.
> You are a prominent euroskeptic in the party and one of the few Conservatives left who still holds true to traditional conservative values. Frankly you are one of the few MPs left who I feel confident will honour Parliament's democratic mandate from the public in any meaningful way.
> The public voted to reject Blairism. If the Conservative party is to survive this political reckoning, it must not offer more of the same.
If you live in a constituency that has a Tory MP, please e-mail them to support Mogg.
We can meme him into Downing Street, contact him anons..

>Everytime Cameron says "we must be in the single market" the pound goes up.
Reminder that that means total free movement of labour and no full control over our borders
This is the result that Cucky Carswell and Hannan are pushing for
>"If an election is held soon enough (certainly before October) then all candidates can reasonably be asked to state without equivocation whether they support or oppose the verdict of the referendum, and how they will vote on the matter if elected. This must then be more important than their party allegiances. It will compel local alliances which could make almost all ‘safe’ seats unsafe. And it would also compel the elected members in such a Parliament to seek new allegiances, refusing the old Labour or Tory whips. It could be the first step towards the complete realignment our political system so badly needs. If it does not happen, then some sort of Norwegian arrangement under which we remain in the Single Market and lack full control of our borders, will be what we will get. It will resolve almost none of the problems described above. Good luck with that."
Not if you join her in holy matrimony. Not like it's a punishment, it would be great.

Economically speaking, brexit was an objectively bad decision. That's not an opinion. That's a fact, and anybody that still says recession isn't very probably hasn't been paying attention.
The best defense of Brexit exists on the prospect of principle, that is, safeguarding the future of the country against mass immigration and radical islam. The country's boarders WILL be safer with a restriction that can't be controlled by the EU. So if that's worth a severe economic downturn to you, then brexit is fine to support.
There's also some thought that defends Brexit by making the argument that certain regulations imposed by the EU, or more likely the fact that the EU can regulate the British people at all, was worthy of leaving, but that's foolish ideology because if Britain wants to resume trade with EU member states at anywhere near the level of what they did as an EU member, they're going to have to agree to many if not most of the EU regulations anyway. For example, Free movement of people will probably not go away, and if it does, it will only go away to certain extents.

Everyone knew it'd be bad for their economy in the short term, but there's no reason Britain can't be better in the long run. They're a legitimate super power in this world. They're fully capable of running their own shit better than the EU ran it.
It didn't have much grassroots impact once they went home after a few hours. They raised some money and that's about it. Ryan actually played it correctly by not turning off the lights or escorting them out.
Gabriel Taylor
Isn't Mogg pro immigration despite living in 99% white land?
I dont like that.

>"Did you hear about that Labour MP mum?" >"Jo Cox?" >"Mm, it's a damn shame, but the timing is very convenient for the remain campaign." >"Yeah... and they were quick to make a big fuss about it, weren't they user?"

> if Britain wants to resume trade with EU member states at anywhere near the level of what they did as an EU member, they're going to have to agree to many if not most of the EU regulations anyway. Only if they export which only 6% of british companies do anyway > For example, Free movement of people will probably not go away, and if it does, it will only go away to certain extents. Even if the commision forces them to it's better then being a full member
And as another user said, bad short term, good long term.
