Your country

>your country
>Are people that work with computers respected in your country ?

France, no

Haha

i'm a IT guy and i don't give a fuck about other people. all i care about is money and i'm getting plenty of it

When they earn a lot
:Cheating geeks who exploit the society
When they are in poverty
:Cringy geeks who have escaped from REAL profession.
When they earn decently
:Will they explain their children Daddy sit whole a day in front of a computer?

No one cares, but personally I feel bad for them and their backs

Nope.

I'd say neutral. When I worked in IT a lot of the guys were jacked normies and had nice gfs, some others were the stereotypical 200kg fatties or scrawny skeletons (me). Didn't seem like the job was at all relevant to your social standing.

Respected maybe not, envied oh, yes!
We are one of the few fields with high employment rates.

Most find it uninteresting

>mention I'm a software engineer for X
>"DO YOU WORK WITH HACKING AND SECURITY"
>No, I do quality assurance fo-
>instant dead look in their eyes

virgins

what do you mean "work with computers"?
IT? sysadmin? coder? tech support? cleaning dust off of them?

this thread is the proof that they envy us.

So I've been trying to fix the computer and in the way now it doesn't turn on
Seems that when I press the power button the hole thing on the right sweeps out

Do I have to put glue in it?

Also I revised the pins and everything is connected so the problem doesn't lie there I think

We're flooded with Indian IT workers so no.

My bad, I just switched off the fuente
Now I just have to fix the sound the videocard cooler does

even the biggest chads and normies aspire to get into the faculty of engineering.
they do it to earn a diploma here and go work in a western country with it (ie. the reason why college shouldn't be free in Croatia)

They're in demand and its a cushy office job so I would imagine most people would look favourably upon someone who does that.

Not really.
It might be the industry causing it, it's toxic. I studied and worked in IT. Most were just anti-social dickheads. It made me realize I'm a social person that needs human contact.

doesn't every Japanese salaryman sit in front of a computer all day anyway?

I work with computers. At least I have the respect of old people.

Are you perhaps me?
