1) they have the buffer of Belarus so not true neighbors
2) they didn't get Russified so no true anti-Russian sentiment (Lithuania has like 5% Russians when at our worst we had like 35%, now 25%)

This is apparently a cultural custom and obsession of their soldiers, just threw that in because it's quite odd and telling.
Large batches in Tallinn (where many of the Soviet factories that supplied St. Petersburg were) and Eastern Estonia. The Russians were basically Soviet workforce to support the industry that supplied mainland Russia. It was also an assimilation force that served as a punishment for being bad and disobedient goys. This is why there are so many problems with them, because they are simple uneducated factory workers and there hasn't been a good use for them ever since the economy transitioned to a modern one.
