The comparison isn't totally valid. In real football, the team who has the luxury to kneel will have earned that possession with a big defensive stop. You also won't see teams kneeling to play for the tie, like the pussies in the OP's video are doing.
This is why soccer needs a shot clock. One minute seems good. The sport is stuck in the early 20th century.
