Brit on vacation here, I am literally shaking as we speak.
Ever since Brexit, I have seen my nation, a place I once considered my home, ravaged by the largest outpouring of HATE crimes and misogyny ever since the advent of racism it-self.
My 6 year old daughter, tears in her eyes, came up to me the other day. > "Mum, am I forced to hate Aisha because she is Muslim and I am English? Why does national sovereignty entail that I forgo my faith in humanity as a homogeneous social construct?"
My heart literally droped out of my chest.
I went to visit the Metro the other day, I saw a poor Polish immigrant child, beat to death with plungers and toilet dressings, all the while angry men chanted hate-filled national anthems.
This needs to stop.
The elderly and the insane sold our youth, for what?!? Some shred of "identity" that was never ours to begin with?
I wanted to be free from the EU just like you, but this is getting ridiculous. We need to take direct action. We need a second referendum and we need to apologize for the damage done.
