I never consider suicide my life is really good
Bout to watch Manchester by the Sea -- what will I think of it?
>QOTD: Do you consider suicide frequently?
Never have!
>Do you consider suicide frequently?
No, not at all. I feel bad for people with those kind of thoughts.
An okay melodrama. The ending is what truly makes it stand out.
A fantastic melodrama
About suicide thoughts I do get them here and there but I'm to much of a pussy to actually kill myself
>QOTD:
yes, I got in Sup Forums through /r9k/

I'm more afraid of eternal darkness than just having a shitty day
How was A Royal Affair?
Yes. Probably will end up doing it in March if I don't get a job by then.
Don't do it. Stay strong, NEET Kamerad.
I'm about to watch Yi Yi soon. How should I prepare for my second Yang-kino?

I know I'm gonna get shit all over for the Series of Unfortunate Events rating but that movie's surprisingly alright actually.
Shame that my first Sirk film was sort of a disappointment, though I'm willing to overlook it due to the fact he's considered to only really comes into his own when he got to Hollywood. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.
It's surprisingly great, really didn't think I'd get into it as much as I did. Need to catch up on Lonergan now.
>I know I'm gonna get shit all over for the Series of Unfortunate Events rating...
No, you're gonna get shit all over for being Synt.
Yeah true to be fair. Sometimes it doesn't happen though, which is cool.
I wouldn't say frequently, no.
Are there any non reddit recommendations for films about depression?
Cracking Up (Jerry Lewis, '83)
What did /lbg/ think of La La land?
The science crazed DVD is impressively premium. Very close to swapping citizen kane out for it in my favourites
no never
Very charming in places but as a whole fell flat for me, maybe only as a result of the raised expectations
didn't like the music and didn't have the energy/pace I was wanting
What's so good about the actual DVD?
Reversible artwork, a decent booklet with some nice writing on it, loads of extra features
God damn, actually kinda jealous.

It was honest.
Emily Jean was the only good part of it.
it was great
only bitter virgins hate it
no it was amazing all around and emily jean was just a bonus to the amazingness
Cool. Can't really spare it right now but at least I've got the film.
My favourite blacklist script from 2015 is getting adapted by HBO
What's it called?
If Emily Jean were a movie, Edgar Cochran would give her a 100/100
If Emily Jean were a director, she'd be Federico Fellini
If Emily Jean were a country of film, she'd be Italy
If Emily Jean were a style of filmmaking, she'd be French New Wave
If Emily Jean were anymore perfect, she'd be Emily Jean

Mann, Shyamalan, W.S. Anderson, the list goes on... Pretty weird taste, right? I'm totally unlike anyone else on this site!
>Mann, Shyamalan, W.S. Anderson, the list goes on...
The hallmarks of the tasteless and the uninitiated. It's okay if you're just getting into the medium, but there are some (even here, on a so called ''film'' board) that actually believe they are cultured or have a snippet of taste because they like these directors, when in actuality they are nothing more than embarrassingly cringeworthy copy/paste babies with no opinion on the medium they claim to love whatsoever.
For a cinephile like myself, it is truly disgusting to watch, and the main reason I, and many others, steer far away from this pit of despair and depravity.
