What was the point of this scene?
to show that lynch is a fucking hack
>There's a big guy, in back of this place. He's the one who's doing it. I can see him through the wall. I can see his mask. I hope that I never see that mask, ever, on this aircraft.
So years from now people will still make threads about DUDE REMEMBER THAT ONE SCENE LMAO
There's probably no point. Just like with a lot of his films. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan, but I don't think his films need to be interpreted as narratives. I think he just dreams up a cool idea and just films it, if he can't tie it in with the rest of the film somehow, he doesn't care, he just keeps it in. His films are meant to be enjoyed as you would enjoy a ride through downtown LA at 3AM, you'd see a whole lot of bizarre but entertaining shit that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
BIG KEK
baneposting does it again
Diane had a nightmare about Winkies since she associates a lot of negative emotions with it.
Wen you see the booty
This movie was so underwhelming to me after watching Eraserhead, not saying it's bad though.

It was part of an elaborate ruse orchestrated by Lynch to film those lesbian scenes with Watts and Harring.
Mulholland drive is just a really weird porn backstory
What was his endgame?
