Are there any really good (pre-Daniel Craig) Bond films or are they all just trashy action flicks?

Goldeneye is my favorite, saw it in the theater when I was 12.

timothy dalton was so cool that id suck his dick and im a trans post bilateral genderfluid homosapien

I've always enjoyed License To Kill, but that's because it's more of a revenge flick than a spy outing

From Russia With Love
License to Kill
Living Daylights
Goldfinger
Goldeneye
Thunderball
Tomorrow Never Dies

I'd definitely recommend License to Kill though; one of my favourite action films and a perfect representation of book Bond

>thinks the actually trashy action flicks that objectively diminished the status of Bond films with the introduction of shit tier Brosnan are better than the patrician classics.

Suicide tier desu senpai

Roger Moore made some wacky comedy ones too

Kek'd

Goldfinger is pretty much THE Bond movie..almost everything is perfect and is the first bond movie to be widely imitated

Bond cured a lesbian by fucking her right, SJW will be triggered

Her Majesty's Secret Service also had some more serious themes and a strong Bond girl

my favorites are

>Goldfinger
>From Russia With Love

>On Her Majesty's secret service

>The Living Daylights
>Licence to kill

>Goldeneye

OHMSS is a great film if you disregard Blofeld's plot.

Looks like most people here are on the same page.
If you want Connery, go for From Russia with Love or Goldfinger.
Moore; The Spy Who Loved Me or For Your Eyes Only.
Dalton; The Living Daylights.
Brosnan; Goldeneye.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is pretty good too, and George Lazenby's only film as Bond. It's got some nice direction but only picks up after the 2nd half.

...

Aside from Casino Royale the only Bond kino is From Russia With Love. It was after they'd figured the character out and gotten a bigger budget from Dr. No, but before it started getting tainted with pop culture pandering, which began as fast as with Goldfinger (which is probably the most overrated Bond film ever).

A bunch of Bond films after that were quality as far as being entertaining action flicks, but Casino and From Russia are the only two that really transcend the series.

Watch them all you faggot.

>forgetting Licence to Kill
Pseud

...

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, that is a quality movie.

It's the only movie where I actually thought Bond was scared, when he's at the ice rink being chased by goons.

The second half of that movie gets pretty tense.

>dem '80s side titties

Thank you based Satan

Don't mention it.

Tfw they will never make movies like this ever again because sex will be removed more and more from movies because it's "offensive", until one day the only sex in movies left is paedophilia, because paedophiles are just victims who don't deserve to be ostracised

OUR GUY

My favorite is Live and Let Die but the best James Bond film is From Russia with Love

License to Kill is a reasonably fun action movie. That's all.
