Photographer detected.

Everyone can be a photographer. It requires literally no skill.

Fuck off kid.

Great, then you'll have no problem describing what exposure, f-stops, aperture opening, focal length and ISO sensitivity are in great technical detail. I'll give you two minutes since it's so simple.

...

You could learn about the technical concepts by lurking a forum for a week.

Ok, so you can't explain any of it and your time is up. Good job proving yourself wrong.

I literally just told you. Give me a week and I'll have the skill set to take pictures that would qualify as "world class" by pretentious photographers.

literature > music (common practice period) > art (van gogh etc.) > film > modern art > flicks > modern music > video games

literature > classic hollywood > full albums > pop singles > new genre fiction > new hollywood

His arms look awful. He's grotesque. Very disproportionate; his arms and chest are way too big. Every sane person knows babybuilding is fragile male egos overcompensating for defective personalities or garbage tier faces

Maybe you could learn about the technical concepts in a week, but you still wouldn't be able to apply them correctly, it takes much more practice.
But here's a simple challenge.
Take a picture, doesn't matter what the subject is, could be an object or whatever, just concentrate on composition, lighting, the basic stuff. Post it.
Show us your skills, since its so simple, you shouldn't have any problem doing it.

>fragile male egos overcompensating for defective personalities or garbage tier faces
just like art

lol.

there's only 3 things you need to consider when taking a shot.

EXPOSURE:
aperture: determines the focal length.
shutter speed: determines how much light passes through the lens.
iso: keep the iso low for stationary shots, bump it up if you're taking a portrait but be mindful of grain.

The goal is not to over or under expose your image but modern SLRs can detect this so anyone idiot can take a competent shot.

LENS:
Telephoto lens flattens an image and is good for portraits (50mm-infinity)
Wide angle lens captures a greater field of view but can curve the shot. (1mm-50mm)

FOCUS:
Again, you can use a manual focus and the adjust the little focus ring.
Alternatively, you can use autofocus and modern SLRs can allow you to autofocus certain spots. Any idiot can do this today.

So, that's the technical side. On the artistic side there's a few things to keep in mind:

LIGHTING:
Avoid taking photos at midday. Take photos during sunset and sunrise. This is called the golden hour.

COMPOSITION:
Be mindful of the balance of a shot. Is your shot symmetrical or asymmetrical?

If it's asymmetrical, take advantage of the rule of thirds.

CONTRAST:
Be mindful of major differences between the subject of your camera. Differences in size, colour, pattern, etc... This is what makes you image striking.

There. I saved you countless hours and so much money taking a worthless photography class.

>any music at all above last/second to last
It's literally nice sounding noises, it's one step above those sensory videos that are just 3 hours of strobing colours that put babies to sleep
Nobody thinks you have taste because you separate classical music from modern music

what 3 movies

thanks, pham
really wanted to know what those things were

High culture: Academic art that elevates existence.
// literature
// painting
// theatre
// ballet
// sculpture
// opera

Mass culture: Mass produced kitsch designed to satiate base desires.
// comic books
// video games
// television
// Hollywood movies
// modern music
// pornography

The nice try but you're not even close award
// modern art
// avant garde films
// Naughty Dog video games
// photography

Why did you go out of your way to shit on Naughty Dog video games? Why do people get so triggered over something barely worth having an opinion on?

Oh man yo have to learn like 5 reddit words?

It takes years of experience to make anything resembling a half decent vidya.

because it's pretentious crap that needs to be called out when the opportunity arises.

Lol, I learned all of that in my mechanics lab.
