Why can't Scotland be part of the EU without getting independence from UK?

Denmark is EU, but Greenland and the Faroe Islands is not, and they are doing perfectly fine

Scotland are not currently acknowledged as a member state, the U.K is.
Which is why when we leave, they'll have to.

>usa
>saves europe by winning ww2

Wew

Well it definitely wasn't you guys

Because it's not a member of the EU and thus would have to apply to join once it left.

>usa
>winning ww2

>USA
>saves Europe
>winning WW2

>USA
>Saves Europe in WWII
The fuck are you smoking? The Soviets start winning against the nazis and pushing them back way before US even join the war.

Because Faroe Islands and Greenland are autonomous countries, and Scotland is not.
Scotland is merely a 'constituent' country of the UK, meaning it is not it's own sovereign nation.

Same thing with Wales and Northern Ireland.

>defeating the good guys
>saving Europe

While the problems of nowadays can be traced back to WWI, the US 'victory' (soviets defeated the Nazis anyway, not you or the Americans) definitely didnt help.
