Make up your mind on how you want to shitpost. Also roids lmao

Guaranteed replies.
Also who is the bottom left boxer?

In boxing you need speed, strength to deal significant damage while gloved, endurance, etc.
In MMA you just need to hit the guy in the head once or lock them to win

a famous boxer by the name of Jake Gyllenhaal

>doesn't know Billy Hope
casual

mma is absolute fucking shit boxing isn't
hth

k thanx, I also did mean bottom right.

John Cena would destroy all of these bums.

Boxing is limited to only your hands which isn't realistic in a real fighting situation. MMA was born due to people wanting to test their martial arts so they wanted almost no rules.

MMA fighters have to deal with elbows, kicks, knees, punches, takedown attempts and ground fighting. Every time a guy who only knows stand up fighting without any training in grappling tries MMA he gets taken down fast and then submitted. They look like a fish out of water.

Is fighting with time limits, referees and rules realistic?

Honestly all the fights I have seen and been a part of in the streets only constitute of throwing haymakers into each others' chins continuously until someone else breaks it up. They usually last around 30 seconds.

It's closer than only allowing the use of hands. The UFC allowed things like nut shots in the beginning.

Doesn't make it the better sport though, it's fucking terrible to watch

It depends on who's fighting

>I don't like it so it's terrible to watch
What is personal opinion, amiright? For me watching that hug fest with pillows on the fighters hand is way more boring.

A lot of those were hits to the back of the head or to a defenseless fighter already out cold. I can’t watch that shit.

>allowed
but not anymore
maybe we should go back to IVC

Should Pride make a comeback?

MMA fighters can get boring easily if you're not into the ground exchanges. I trained mma for a year and then switched to boxing, and being removed from grappling I find most mma fights unwatchable now

Boxing has a much larger talent pool and over a century of technical evolution

The big dawg would kill all those nig malets

>Boxing - most skill and beautiful to watch
>WWE - theatrical and fun
>MMA - boring as shit without steroids
Literally no reason to watch MemeFC now

You have to know the right fighters to watch in mma because there many styles.

You should kys if you're older than 16 and you still watch WWE.

>muh BJJ

much more realistic than fighting with time limits, refereed and rules as well as being limited to only using your hands.

Boxing is a much more limited, restricted sport, with only 100 years of localized history, that utilizes archaic closed fist striking under overly padded soft gloves. The refs break up any real fighting that may occur. Knockouts are usually by freak accident and are a rare occurrence. Each match is essentially who gets tired before 12 rounds is up. Typical match lasts 30 minutes and is incredibly dull.

MMA is the culmination of thousands of years of clashing martial arts styles from Muay Thai to Judo to Shotokan, Sambo and Jiu Jitsu. It is a world competition of conflicting styles of striking and grappling. The most elite fighters in the world compete against each other in the ultimate arena for dominance. Typical fights usually last anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes and end in a KO or submission.

I'd rather watch an actual fight than two dudes lightly tapping each other for 45 minutes

>>WWE - theatrical and fun
Are you 12?

Does that pic mean MMA is cleaner?

Boxing is like a chef who specializes in a select few meals. They may be all he makes, but he does a damn fine job perfecting them over the years. People will taste and appreciation for the craft will keep coming back.

MMA is like chef who cooks food for an entire buffet. Jack of many trades, master of none. Relatively little time is spent perfecting any of the dishes, and as many shortcuts as possible are taken. Attracts people with poor taste and little appreciation for the craft.

Agree with this a bit, i am not into submission shit. That is literal hugging on the ground.

>the right fighters at the right match
that is a bullshit ass excuse and you know it

MMA is gay.

That maybe true for a lot of fighters but there are many fighters who are top fighters at a discipline and then learn others. For example Daniel Cormier and Yoel Romero were Olympic wrestlers
Jacaré, Maia, Werdum who are top of the top in BJJ
Cro cop is almost retired now but he was a kickboxing fighter before

thats inaccurate, you do have jack of all trades master of none fighters but theres also some who are lets say bjj black belts and muay thai masters theres just so many ways to be sucessful in mma

Meh, at this point in time it's more palatable than boxing. Plenty of clinching/clutching there except no work gets done during it

year round USADA testing is the difference

See Rizin friend

It will never be as glorious but it's literally neo-Pride

This is false. Specialist kickboxers, wrestlers, catch wrestlers and juijitsu fighters are in MMA. Boxing is the only exception.

>not watching LU
